Default SU Craft vs. Palette Hybrid for Onesies?

I am planning to stamp on some onesies for baby gifts. I know you can stamp on clothes with Palette Hybrid ink pads and it will be permanent. Is it the same with SU Craft or will it wash out eventually?

If they will both work, is one better than the other?

Thanks!:-D

I have had questionable results with SU Craft Ink (clarity of image, faded over washes, etc.) and fantastic results with Palette ink. If it were me I wouldn't use anything but Palette.

I've used the Palette inks for some Onesies and it works very well. I can't compare to the SU Craft ink though because I haven't used it.

You can see the Onesies I made on one of the first entries on my new blog.

Question how long does palette stay in fabric after washing?

I was wondering about this too, and does anyone know if the ink is still there after washing the onesie? After washing it a couple times? Just curious to know how long the ink stays in the fabric....

If you pre-wash the fabric I think it would last quite some time.

I've prewashed onsies and my 2 yr old's t-shirts (same cotton material) before stamping w/ the pallette inks. They have lasted through numerous washes and have stood up to my two year olds abuse! lol
HOWEVER, I tried to stamp on a silk scarf w/ the palletes and it bled and faded something fierce. The only thing i've seen work on the silk is SU's craft ink. That was gorgeous!
Good luck!!!!
