Default SU blank ink pads

Does anyone know if the new blank pads can be inked with classic ink refill, or does it have to be craft ink? Thanks

I haven't seen a new SU catalog in some time.
Sounds interesting!

They'll be available September 1!
And if memory serves they are specific to craft ink since the pad is a different material (sort of spongy). But I'm sure someone with more knowledge will pipe up here in no time

Yep, you're right. They are sponge pads and only for craft ink.

The un-inked pads are $4.95, versus classic pads $5.95. I say just buy the classics, then you get the color and name on the lid too.

I wouldn't use classic ink on a spongy pad -- it may get too runny and not ink well. The sponge uninked pads are available in the Holiday Mini catalog beginning tomorrow and are intended to be inked with craft inks as SU! no longer sells full sized craft pads ready to go.
