I have it and it is very pretty. I have only used the oval folder and there is a picture of a card in my gallery where I used it. It is the Regal Rose Thinking of You card. Many of the sayings fit nicely in the oval.

I love them, there are two in the set. One is oval and one is a frame type of shape. You can cut them out or not. So far I have only used them by cutting them out. You have to do a little trick if you don't so that you don't get impression from the side of the folder (they are smaller than the regular folders). There is a thread about it around here somewhere.....

I have them. Haven't made a card yet but the wide oval punch fits perfectly in the oval frame. . . I have seen several cards using it and hoped we didn't have to cut out the insert. . . Can't wait to play more.

Well, you could use your wide oval punch and punch it out, if you wanted.

I'm considering buying this item too, and I was concerned about an impression that might be left from the edges of the folder. I'm off to look for some examples in the gallery.

Well I went and had a look thru the gallery for cards using this folder. Love it! That is definitely going on my order at the catty launch tomorrow. (I'm in Australia and our new catty just went live a few days ago)

Question Help

I have been unsuccessful in eliminating the impression of the edge of the folder. As the instructions say, I have tried placing paper over the embossing folder before running it through the Big Shot. Any advice?

Thanks,

Lisa

Well this doesn't address the issue but it does show you how to emboss inside the frame:

I'm having problems with cracking on the frame and I'm getting a line from the edge of the frame to the edge of the cardstock...any suggestions?

I've heard that if you lightly spritz the card stock with water, that is suppose to take care of that problem, I've not tried it myself tho.
