Years ago I bought several boxes of jumbo paperclips at Walmart for pretty cheap. I think they were about 3 inches long and were under $2 for a container of 8 or 10, I don't quite remember. I bought enough to last for a long, long time, but now I'm totally out. I'm always on the lookout for more, checking at Target, dollar stores, online, etc., but I've only found the 4 inch paperclips at Staples, and they are $4.29 for 10, I think.
Does anyone know where I could get the slightly smaller ones, and for cheaper?
Right now Walmart has them in their back to school area for $.88 for a pack of four. They are all different colors. I bought a ton. After back to school is over, though, I think they're going to be tougher to get (at least where I am, all the "good" stores are 3+ hours away).
Quite a few, like maybe, 50. I'd like to have enough to make bookmarks for my son's class again, plus have some spares.
Thanks for the tip about the Container Store, Mary Beth. I see they have packages of fairly neutral colors there in addition to the bright colors. :grin:
Did anyone ever find these in bulk? I have been online and can't find them either. I don't want the colored ones, I want silver. Please let me know if anyone has had any luck.
