The coupon flyer in my Sunday paper advertises the CB machine (and Cuttlekids) also for 50% off, along with the Sizzix machine and accessories. Finally a decent sale (except I bought my CB yesterday at JoAnn's for 40% off!)
I have the same sale flyer for Michaels, but it's a shame that Michaels still only has the same Sizzix and Cuttlebug products they've have for more than a year. They have not updated their stock. (At least this is true for the 3 Michaels stores in my driving area.) Same with the Cricut products. So to me I can't get excited over the sale.
The new michaels that opened this year have the new sizzix and cuttlebug dies, some of the ones that came out this summer/fall! So if you have one of the new stores near you, go there and get them 50% off thru wednesday! These new stores are a test, and if the scrapbooking stuff in them sells well, they will expand it to the other michaels.

My store just updated the cricut cartridges a few weeks ago, with 6 new cartridges. Lookout for a great price on cricut carts for black friday!
I totally forgot all about this sale till my girlfriend reminded me at the baby shower we were at.
I'm very frugal. I usually don't buy things unless they're at least 40% off although I usually go for 50% off. Plus, if I don't my mil will remind me that I can get things for 50% off from her. Although she doesn't always carry the items that I'm looking for so if I want it and she doesn't carry it I usually have to do some thinking about how soon I really need something.
I told my dh that I'd like an cricut but because it requires cartridges. DH thinks I should try to find an electronic die cut machine that doesn't.

Took the words right out of my mouth!! I was going to buy the snowflake die a couple weeks back and talked myself out of it... I went back to buy it and it was gone (they only had one to begin with). I've been back SEVERAL times since then and still nada. :rolleyes:

Well you could go back this week and still get the cuddlebug stuff for 50% off. It's not 50% + an additional 15% but it's better than 40%.
Does anyone know what Michael's retail price for the CB is? Just trying to figure out if it would be worth it to return the one my DH bought for me for my birthday online (it hasn't arrived yet) and drive 60+ miles to the closest Michael's for 50% off...[the website only says "50% off", not what the original price is]

I was the happiest person walking out of Michaels this past July when I got mine for 40.00!! Those rare times when stores offer an additional % even on sale items is the best!
My Mom bought my DD a cuttlekids for Xmas. So I ran to Michaels to buy her some dies. My Michaels only carries the cuttlebug letter dies. No shapes. Great sale, guys. Let's have a big sale on stuff you don't even carry. Argh.
I got my Cuttlebug yesterday!! I drove 67 miles one way to get it too!!!LOL I got the cuttlebug and 2 embossing folders; swirls and circles. I cannot wait to try them out!!!
I also got the Swiss Dots folder off of Ebay lastnight for $4. The Michael's I went to, which is fairly new only had 4 diff. embossing folders..but I love the prices I paid!!!
I'm so addicted to shopping on EBay. DH had to put a limit on it.
But you can always find some awesome deals there on everything, if you know how much things cost before you bid. And know when to stay within your limit.

So if you missed Sundays sale and got the coupon for the Thanksgiving Day sale and are able to make it this is an even better deal.
It's good from 6-9pm on Thursday.
I doubt I'll be able to make this one since we have family visiting for Thanksgiving weekend. And I know if dh doesn't say something then his folks probably will.
