Does such a thing exist? I really want to use nesties, but I don't want to use shims every time. If it does exist where can one find one?

Is there a name for it? I have had no success searching with random key words. I already have the sizzlets converter

Do you mean with the red Sizzix? That's what I have.
Use the magnetic Sizzix adapter and the Sizzix adapter plates. I got these at Archivers, they're a 10 pack and are black with white printing on them. You can use the tan rubber mat or a plumber's gasket (just a red rubber sheet from the hardware store) to do the embossing step.
If you search plumbers gasket you can find a lot of info for sandwiches for nesties.
You can go to Lowe's in the plumbing department and ask for 1/8 inch plumbing gasket or rubber gasket. They'll look at you like you're crazy. Then you say...you can make mouse pads out of them. A light bulb will go off and they'll show you what you are looking for. They are 5x7 rubber mats that cost about a dollar. I got 1/8 inch and 1/16 inch. They're not fancy but they're not ugly either. They're so cheap you can keep a good supply and you don't have to keep ordering them online. Lowe's will have them and so does Walmart.
Thanks girls. I will just have to find the adapters now. We don't have a joannes or an archivers. Ebay it is.

I found mine at Home Depot too! I think it was $1.87.
Mine were 98 cents each. I bought three of both sizes. I got home and couldn't remember which size was which:-( They both work so I don't worry about it.
I am so confused!
I have the original red machine and cannot figure out how to use it with my lonely oval Nesties that I got a good 4-5 months ago. I have the magnetic adapter for using the thin Quickutz dies, and I thought I found the necessary shims/adapters at Michaels - but they are small black squares - much smaller than the Nestie. I didn't buy them since I don't think it's the right thing. But I also can't get a good cut with anything I try to rig.
Any suggestions? I really don't want to return them, and I also really don't want to buy another machine (Cuttlebug, Big Shot, etc. - too many to figure out!!!)
Thanks in advance!!
They have very clear step by step instructions with all the parts you need listed. Just scroll down and look for the Original Sizzix Press :-)
Hope that helps!

Thanks! Very good directions! Although it says I need a white Spellbinders spacer plate that needs to be sanded down since it's too wide for a Sizzix. This may be more trouble than it's worth!!
When I had the old red Sizzix, I created a 'permanent' shim for underneath my white plate. I cut chipboard to the same size as the plate, layered it until it was the right thickness, then taped it together. I just used it whenever I needed it. HTH.
