Default Shotbox questions

I was wondering if anyone out there is using the Shotbox
to take photos of your projects. I always struggle with proper lighting when I'm taking pics of my cards and this seems to really flood the box with those LED lights. It's pretty expensive so I didn't want to buy it without getting a sense of whether or not it is as good as it appears. Anyone using an alternative that they love? I currently use small photography lights pointed right at my cards but I'm just not happy with how the pics look. Thanks in advance for your insight!

The shotbox is probably really good, even if I'm not that great of a photographer. It would probably make me look better than I am! ;) But I couldn't afford that much so I bought this one:

Benefit? Really reasonable. And compact to store. The lights are front and back so there's lots of light. I'm pleased with it. But scrapbook pages wouldn't fit.

I have the one similar to Diane's but I found it would collapse mid shoot, it was causing more grey hairs so I got a cube, it just pops up, but it doesnt have any lighting....now getting it back down again and into the bag is a workout all of it's own, this is down to user issues ( I am useless at things like that)

Over the years I have bought three variations on the photocube/photolights theme and every one turned out to be too much hassle. I don't have a dedicated spot to leave a photo setup in place - how I wish I did - so I just put my card on my craft sheet and put a piece of foamboard behind it. Good enough for my gallery

That Shotbox looks very nice, though. Too much for me to spend, I don't have a blog. If I did, I might feel it was a good investment. I'll be curious to see if anyone here has it and what they think. The fact that the lights are already part of the box, very clever. It looks like a snap to set up.

I still think you need to know how to do some basic post-editing though.
