scal 3 and the cricut

Im hoping to find out if you can upgrade to scal 3 and still use the cricut expression. I have the scal 2 and the old expression. I know it says doesn't support cricut anymore but wondering if they are forced to say that or if it would still work? I like the new features and would like to upgrade.

Nope sorry, you really can't use it. There was the whole lawsuit with SCAL/MTC and ProvoCraft, and now those companies software will not work with cricut unless you have the older version, and do not upgrade.

Did you decide to upgrade? I haven't b/c I don't want to loose the ability to cut.
I don't really want to have to buy another brand, and have TWO cutting machines!
