Default ribbon factory sale

I know this is a popular place because I've seen threads about it on SC, so I thought I'd alert you about Berwick Offray Ribbon Factory Outlet having a 10 year anniversary sale in Hagerstown, Md. Friday April 11 and Saturday, April 12. On already great prices there is a 15% savings and free give aways and door prizes. Hours are 9-5 Fri. and 9-4 Sat.

How far is it from Washington D.C.? We are going to be up there for spring break, maybe I convince DH to go there as payback for spending the week at historical sights.

My daughter lives in DC and the next time I visit her we talked about going. I did a mapquest and it is about 1 1/2 hours from DC.

About 1- 1 1/2 hours depending on where in DC, time of day, that kinds stuff. Besides if you want to see something really historic...in the area is the Antietam Battlefield. It's a really nice site to see and seriously only 10 min from the ribbon factory. I used to live in Hagerstown.

Ohh, thanks for the info. Off to check with DH to see if he wants to go to Antietam Battlefield. I know there is a long list of battlefields on his agenda for the week. Can't miss this one or the ribbon outlet!!

It sells ribbon and a lot of it. Big bolts and plastic bags full of ribbon assortments. Seriously, you can spend $10 and have enough ribbon to last for a few years.

They sell scrapbook embellishments such as little flowers, bows, and words. They have some fabric. Ribbon comes in sheer, grosgrain, satin, striped, plaid, polka dot, with words and flowers, etc. You will not leave there empty handed. Usually the regular size ribbon they sell during sales a bag full for .99 - which you have to go through boxes to find what you want just like a rummage sale. You can get at least 20 - 30 or more in a bag. The ribbon widths are an eighth inch to 4 inches wide and the colors are many. They will make bows for you and have some arrangements for sale. They also offer major holiday ribbons of which I found last week red, white and blue. In February they had Valentine ribbon and St. Patrick ribbon.
