Okay, I don't get it. How do you get the flat edge of the paper strip into the corner punch? Do you make the end of the paper strip into a point? Can someone please show me a picture of an uncut "label" because I'm feeling pretty stupid.

There is an opening above the V point you can hold the flat edge even and insert it up to the design top and punch.

Is this only on MS punches? I don't have any of hers, and mine don't have this slot.

If you have Fiscars or another without the slot your option is to cut the ends at a 90 degree angle and insert the point into the punch. This too will get you your label tab.I also tried to put he flat ends in to get four corners punched and it didn't work so it looks like this is your best bet. Good Luck and keep me posted.

misschameleon your suggestion about corner punches got my mind working overtime so I did the usual and checked out You Tube. I did a search on corner punches and border punches. There were so many great ideas on there. It is just a shame there are only 24 hours in the day.
Thanks.

I only recently started getting into punches, so I love the ideas.
Thanks for passing that on. i really enjoy Becca's videos but so far I haven't perfected getting my corners to come out. That doesn't mean I have given up. Her stuff is inspiring. How are you doing with it? Any tips for lining up the sides? At least I have lots and lots of confetti. lol

From what I have learned, there's a bit of math involved in lining up your sides with the corners. If you measure the border and the width of your corner punch, the combined sizes should equal the length your paper should be, and the depth of the images should be the minimum width of your cardstock. I'm not sure if that's very clear. Martha Stewart's punch around the page punches have measurements listed so you know what size to cut your paper so that your corners will line up perfectly with the border punches. I think there are other border punches that do that too, but I'm not sure which ones as I don't punch often. And if all else fails...confetti is always fun. ;)

Thanks to Becca Feeken (Amazing Paper Grace) I've been addicted to border and corner punches for some time now!

Thank you to the OP for giving me yet another clever way to make use of my embarrassingly large collection!

According to Becca you can start with any width. The trick is lining up where the designs meet. my design is curved not flat and I think that is the problem. You cant line up curved sections. There is always a division. Will purservere.

I'm with misschameleon. I love what Becca does with her corner punches, but haven't quite figured it out with the ones I own. I'm sure some of it has to do with the style of the punch itself. But I'm not giving up!
