Default re: 1" squares

I've signed up for the 100 inchie swap and now I'm wondering what everyone uses to cut their 1" squares...do you like to measure/cut or punch? If punching, which punch...(brand) do you like??? Thanks so much! I've gotta get busy!

Hi victoriag, I have a marvy 1" button punch but it is torture to make it work. Paper shapers makes a lever one that is much easier to use. Creative Memories also has one , it's a button punch but much easier to use than my marvy. I also just cut with my paper cutter sometimes too. Hope that helps and welcome to the swap!

Bethyblue, you're a sweetie! You answered to all the punches and that's just what I needed to know! I don't have much hand/arm strength so I've had to give up using a lot of the punches...so it's good to know about the Paper Shapers lever one...but alas, you're right, I'll probably end up using my cutter! ;)

I'm not in the swap, but I have been using punches for over 10 years now and I have a power punch. It is a really awesome tool especially for the smaller punches that don't have a lever. Here is a link to one from Scrappily Ever After: http://www.scrappilyeverafter.com/power_punch.htm I have ordered from them and they are a great company to work with and to order from.
