Default radiant pearls

Hello! I just broke out my Radiant Pearls from many years ago. I seen they are made by Angelwings Enterprises. I tried their website but came up with nothing. Does anyone know if they still make these and where I can go to get more info on them?

Hi. They changed their name to luminarte. Here's a url to their website but I don't see radiant pearls anymore, but they are selling the radiant rain daubers. And of course their wonderful twinkling h20s. They decided to go out of business last year but I guess so many people ordered the h20s to 'stock up', that they decided to stay in business when they saw how large the demand was. I got most of my radiant pearls on ebay. They also made two radiant pearls technique videos - I got both of them on ebay, too. These videos are very helpful :-)

Luminarte bought out Angel Wings. When they did they decided not to continue with Radiant Pearls. About the only place to buy Radiant Pearls any more is on e-bay when someone is selling their stash. I love mine and will use them until they are gone. The H20"s aren't nearly as good as Radiant Pearls. They don't stay wet long enough to blend like Radiant Pearls and the shimmer they have isn't soft like the pearls.

I have Shimmering Pearls and they are so old they have all almost completely dried out. I know that I should not mix them with water. Does anyone know what I should mix them with to reconstitute them? I would like to use them again.

Default Paints

There is a new Paint out on the Market called Inspirations- very shimmery.....
Here is a link

They have a blog and a DT that just started up! There are a few samples on the Blog I have both RP's (I hate to use them cause they cannot be replaced....) and CI paints- the Ci's are beautiful!

The Blog link:

Hi, I just found a whole box of tiny little jars with black covers filled with paint or something and no product name on them at the bottom of my crafting closet. On the bottom of each jar is a little white tag one reads Anglewings Ent. Chiffon Pink and a phone number that is no longer in service. I'm trying to remember when I bought them it's got to have been quite a few years ago. The only name that's coming to my mind is Twinkles or something on that order. Has anyone got any idea what they may be? Marge

These sound like Twinkling H20's.

You're right on the button, thanks, did a search for Twinkling H20's and the page shows the product and that's exactly what they are. Never fails, if I want to get an answer to a question about crafting all I have to do is go to the Splitcoast Stampers and someone always comes thru. Thanks for the help. Guess I'll dig deeper in my craft closet who knows what else I may find. Marge

Pearl Ex is gorgeous and it requires a fixative if not mixed with some art medium or it will smear/brush off.

Ranger's equivalent to Pearl Ex is Perfect Pearls. Perfect Pearls has a built-in fixative.

For those interested, I'd recommend this terrific article explaining the characteristics and uses for both Pearl Ex and Perfect Pearls:

So I am currently doing a major overhaul of my craft room and came across several pigment-related items, which I have always sort of been confused about as far as how to use, etc.

I have Pearl-Ex and Perfect Pearls--I have these straight no problem. Pearl-Ex needs a fixative of some sort while Perfect Pearls has it already in it.

Now the confusing part--I then came across some small containers with with paper labels on the bottom--LuminArte, Angelwings, and then Radiant Pearls' labels which are not paper and are on the side of the containers.

As I understand from the above posts, Angelwings actually made Twinkling H20s but also previously made Radiant Pearls but stopped when bought out by LuminArte.

My Angelwings Twinkling H20s and LuminArte containers all contain what I thought were cakes of pigment paint--in other words, dry until you add water, etc. But, I then opened the 2 Radiant Pearls containers, and these were actually liquid.

Now comes the question: Are the Twinkling H20s and LuminArte also supposed to be liquid? Or is the Radiant Pearls supposed to be a dried cake like the others?

If the H20s and LuminArte are supposed to be liquid, what do you use to reconstitute them with if that is even possible?

Any clarification you can provide would be immensely appreciated.

Radiant Pearls is a liquid that dries by soaking into the surface, not air dried. You can use it on any kind of non-coated paper to color in stamped images or brush on as is for backgrounds. It will not ever dry on non-porous surfaces like plastic, vellum and glossy cardstock. If you put a bit of a few colors on an acetate scrap it acts like a palette and you can mix colors to your liking. The other products you mentioned -- I have no idea.

Twinkling H2Os are supposed to be solid until you add water. They're used like cake watercolors. Some people add lots of water until they are a creamy consistency, but they will dry back to a solid form in the jar. I add a few drops of water until they are just softened enough to use.

So it sounds like what I have is the way it's supposed to be. Thank you for your help.
