I saw the Sunday Hobby Lobby ad and saw QK 30%. Is this a new item they are selling? Has anyone seen them for sale and what is the selection like? I was wondering if they had the new gift sets? If so 30% off is great.
I saw them at my Hobby Lobby last Monday. The pricing is good. Especially when you can use a 40% off coupon. The selection was somewhat limited right now. They have single dies, revolution dies, and some cookie cutter dies. I did not see the Revolution machine but they did have the old original Quickutz machine that you have to squeeze. There were also paper packs and I believe the kit that allows you to make stamps from their dies.
I have only been to Hobby Lobby a couple of times but my Aunt gave me a bag of things from Hobby Lobby during Thanksgiving. They are not something I am going to use. Do you think Hobby will let me exchange with out a receipt?
Our HL just started to sell them. They are on an aisle end and they didn't have very many. Possibly they are checking to see how they sell? I didn't have time to look more than a quick glance, but hope to get back there soon to have a better look . I have a Cuttlebug and I think they can be used in the Cuttlebug. Is that correct?

I don't know. You might call them and ask them so you wouldn't have to make a trip in.

Yep you can use them in your bug. That is what I use the Revolution dies for. The cookie cutter ones are a little tricky and take some getting use to and time!!!! But they work great.
You can get Quickutz at Hobby Lobby? I always thought it was a company policy to stay away from any big chain craft stores to protect their privately owned retailers. I would hate to see QK going the way ProvoCraft went... (maybe you recall the cricut-outrage about a year ago)

That is why I was asking to making sure it was right. They are on sale and 30% is a great deal. Little scrapbook stores will have to put them on sale to compete.
Robert's Crafts has carried QK for about a year now and you can use the 40% and 50% coupons on them.
The thing that QK has done for Robert's & HL is that they are only carrying a limited selection and so far, Robert's hasn't added any new dies -- they still have what they started with. They do, however, carry the Revolution and alphabets and dies for that. Maybe HL will too.
Don't get me wrong, as a consumer I love discount stores, but also as a consumer I've lost 3 local stores in my community, its so sad because the product they carry is so unique and I know that the big box stores in our area is the reason they are no longer open....they just couldn't compete. If your local store will match ads, please go to them first!

I feel the same way as the previous post. In my Chicagoland area, I have lost 3 Scrapbook Stores as well. Hard to compete with the big stores that have big backers. I hope the local stores can hang in there.
Good Luck and Happy Shopping.
