I use this tool constantly. The one I currently own is old and worn out. I want to replace it with a high quality corner punch that is easy to use and works well leaving a clean, rounded edge. What is your favored corner rounder and by what company?
My corner rounder is actually the first paper crafting tool that I've ever bought. It's the Creative Memories corner rounder. I've never compared it to others, but it's done the trick for me. If it gets dull, I just trim a little piece of tin foil with it and I'm good to go.

That is what my old one is!! I did not know the trick with the foil! I will try that . Thanks.
Creative Memories. I've worn one out that couldn't be sharpened with foil anymore but a friend had a brand new one that she shared with me. Its my favorite, but I have not tried the new Chomper. Hmm.....
I finally caved and had to purchase a new one after my SU! started fraying the paper (after 5+ years) and bought a EK Success one at Target (in pink, if that is something you like) for $5. It's wonderful. It is the same one as SU! used to sell with the bigger radius not small like the current one. And I figure for $5, if it lasts a year or longer I will have gotten more than my $$ worth.
I have tried several brands. Did not like the Fiskars brand at all! Several off name brands I tried, but would get these sharp chunks if not very very careful! Then I discovered the Paper Shapers corner rounders. They are great! There are three different sizes. I found them on sale at Ritz and the quality is great! Have been using them exclusively now. Would want any other brand at this point.
I have the Chomper as well. I broke down and bought it after ruining a couple of cards with my SU corner rounder. The Chomper cuts through 2 or more layers of cardstock. Love it.
Another vote for the Corner Chomper!!! I've owned several corner rounders and the is by far the best one I've ever used. A lttle pricey but worth every penny IMO!!

You know I got one at a convention for free it is by the company Carl, and I have it almost 5 years, never had to pull out the aluminum foil or anything and it works like a charm. Not a company I normally would think of for that sort of thing either.
Make a mistake in the name - I DO have the EK success punches for corner rounders. What I really like is being able to take that corner guard off and do other things with it. Sorry I made a mistake on the company!
I own many corner rounders and my favorite by far is the Corner Chomper. You can easily punch through cardstock that has been layered with patterned paper. This is the true test.
The EK Success corner rounders that I have cannot handle it -- well they handled it for a white before they started getting stuck.
The SU one is too wimpy to do but one layer at a time.
The Bind it All one leaves an ugly notch and sometimes or many times does not give a good rounding.
I do like a Martha Stewart one but when I try to do corner rounding with cardstock that has been layered with patterned paper, it leaves an indentation of a circle in the cardstock.
The Corner Chomper is fabulous and rounds in two sizes -- 1/4" and 1/2."
I have the ones by Bind-it-All and love them. I got them before the Chomper was available, otherwise I would have considered the Chomper since it has both sizes in one tool. But I like all the different items the Bind-it-All can round; does the Chomper have the same capabilities?

For a single layer of cs my favourite is the Creative Memories corner rounder. I also really like my Bind It all " rounder for chipboard or for rounding the back and front of a card in one munch.
Don't use the bind it all rounder on thin paper, it jams. I found that out the hard way, but unjamming it gave DH a chance to shine......

I have this one also and love it. I threw my SU one in the garbage within a couple of months of getting it. It frayed the corners from the beginning and I hate that.
