Default Punch Reference Guide

I wanted to share something I did to help me remember what punches I have. I've got a lot of various punches from different manufacturers and different sizes. I was having a hard time keeping track of what I had so I created a template. I punched each shape on cardstock that matched the color of the punch and then placed them all on a black piece of cardstock. I also punched out the circles and squares so I could quickly see if a stamped image would fit with my punches. I also placed the circles on top of each other and the squares so I could quickly reference which ones worked well together for layering. It's been really helpful for me. I just had to share!

I did the same thing yesterday. I have my punches hanging in an over the door shoe storage bag. In each pocket there is one punch and the shape cut out with the dimension written on it. Then I punched another set of all the punches to keep at my work area so I could see which punch a stamp's image would fit on and what would work for matting. I put the dimension on these also, so I know when I go to grab the punch which size I need. I am hoping it will cut down on the time wasted trying to figure out what punch I need.
