Default PTI stamp storage in SU case??

I recently purchased my first PTI stamp set. I was thinking of moving the set to the new thin Stampin' Up Cases. Is this okay? I wasn't sure if the clear stamps like that kind of plastic or if I should keep it in the CD case.

Thanks,

Maria

I keep all of my Mark's Finest Papers stamps stored in SU cases. Each case holds 2 sets. The bins I purchase at Target and they hold 19 cases each. I love them!!

As long as you leave them on the carrier sheet and not put them on the inside plastic of the case you should be fine.

What happens if we put clear stamps directly on the SU CD case?

I store all my PTI sets in the SU case and cling them directly to the case. Does anyone know for sure if this will harm the clear stamps? Yikes.

In all the information I have read about storage of stamps on various substances, the only problem I can remember reading is concerning rubber on EZMount. Never attach EZMount stamps to any plastic containing or composed of acetate. That includes acetate sheets, some page protectors, and some CD cases.

I have never heard of any difficulties with CLEAR POLYMER stamps on any substance. They are packaged on acetate. Some companies provide CD cases for their storage. The SU stamp cases are not acetate (couldn't be, or we couldn't put our rubber on cling mount in them) and there should be no problem at all storing them there.

I started storing my photopolymer stamps like this almost two years ago with no ill effect to date that I can discern.

Ditto that! Thank you for the peace of mind. I was going to research the details, but thank you Diane for pointing out the materials that do have issues.
