Question Product Question

Hello,
I would like to know how everyone who participated in this weeks color challenge had the exact colors on hand? Are you all Stampin-up Ladies? Is there a list of regularly used items?

If I had to order the items for this weeks challenge, I couldn't even get to it until a week or so depending on how long it took to get here.

I'm sorry if I am asking dumb questions, I just want to participate, but am unsure on how to be prepared.

Thanks ahead for your responses....Debi

I think most of us are SU junkies and have most of the colors on hand. You can also post your challenge at any time so it doesn't matter if you are a week behind because there is no being behind. I also think you have the freedom to improvise as you wish. If you don't have the exact color, substitue with something similar.

I often do the challenges, even years later, but rarely post them and if I do it is way after I made them.

Hi! I don't often particpate in the challenges but do check them out. I always got the impression that they are there to have fun and to help expand our creativity. While I may not use the current color challenge it does show me ways to put colors together that I never would have thought of.

When I first started stamping, I ordered assorted CS packs of all the Stampin Up color families. With those, a versamrk ink-pad and a black ink-pad, you could do any challenge. Over time, I have collected most of the colors, but not all. If I don't have one of the colors, I just substitute something similar.

Debi, I am not a Stampin up! Lady, But I do use Stampin' up! products.

The only Cardstock I have that is SU In Color's.

I mostly use Bazzil Cardstock cause that is what my company sell. I am a Demo for The Angel Company.

I try to join in on the Challenges as much as I can.

And I try to match the color's that Bazzil has with SU color's.

Just use whatever you have that is close. No one is grading you; it's just for fun and to stretch yourself creatively.
