I only have the set of 24 pencils, but Dick Blick sells the 132 set for $99 here:
http://www.dickblick.com/products/pr...lored-pencils/

I've been thinking of getting some additional colors from him as his prices are fab.

ebay! Millions of sets, some 90% below cost. One can buy the beginning set (12) for $5.00. See ebay first.

I agree with Tracy, Dick Blick has the best deals around!

Also check the prices, sometimes it is a better deal to buy the set of 120 pencils and get the set of 12 new colors separately.

Right now, the 12 pack of new colors is $10.89 and the set of 120 is $79.99, so you end up savings $9.11 over buying the set of 132 for $99.99. Just a thought! That's a little extra can be used for blending stumps and sandpaper blocks.

Have fun shopping!

I agree with Minneapple. I bought my set of 72 on Ebay for $27. I haven't seen a set of 132 on there but there are plenty of 120 sets.

I bought my set of 120 for about $44 on Ebay a couple months ago. It can certainly be a lot cheaper to go to Ebay.

I bought my set of 120 on eBay, it cost me $80 with shipping, and exchange, I live in Canada. I also bought the set of 12 on eBay for $10, it is the set of colors that did not come with the 120 so I now have 132 of the Prisma pencils. I have also priced out Dick Blick and there prices seem resonable as well.

Whoa - they make a 132 ct Prismacolor Premier set?? I got the 120 but thought it was the end-all and be-all of Prismacolor pencils. So what colors am I missing? (lol)

My DH got mine at Michael's using a 40% off coupon and gave it to me as a Christmas present.

I never thought about going on Ebay. (DUH!) I bought mine at JoAnn's with a 50% off coupon. They didn't have it in stock that day but special ordered it for me and I had it in under 10 days. But, I just got 120 . . . I didn't know there was 132!! Now to figure out what I'm missing!!! LOL

I contacted Prismacolor towards the end of last year and they said the 132 count was being discontinued. They're still listed on their website though, so I don't know if they decided not to discontinue them after all or just haven't changed the web page yet.

I bought mine on eBay last year for $54.99 from a seller named needfulltangzforyou. I see he doesn't have any of the 132 count at the moment, but does have the 120 count for $59.98.

Can you tell me the name of the 12-pack set that didn't come with the set of 120? I'd be interested to find out which ones I'm missing. TIA.

The set that I have dosn't have a name on it, it is just say's Prismacolor Premier, it does have a gold fish on the cover or some kind of goldish fish with a white strip near its face. They are the extra 12 that come in the 132 set that the 120 set dosn't have, if that makes any kind of sense. A couple of color names in the set are: Nectar, Seashell Pink, Sandbar Brown, Black Raspberry, Kelly Green, Moss Green, Artichoke, Expresso, China Blue, Denim Blue, Blue Lake and Caribbean Sea, I guess that is all of them not a couple. HTH

I got the 132 set from a local art supply store. They had 40% off coupon and $10 rebate. I got it last summer, but I'm still sharpening it. It's this one, http://www.plazaart.com/products.php...&a=6&id=340201.

You can see the colors on Prismacolor website, http://www.prismacolor.com/sanford/c...=SNPRCat100017

Thanks for listing the colors here. I might buy the 120 set and the 12 as singles from Dick Blick.

I appreciate this info too!! I have the set of 72 that I purchased from a local art store 30 years ago ~ I'd love to add to that just don't know where to begin with the colors. I might just write to Carpe Diem. Although, a bunch of them are getting pretty small . . . my daughter might just inherit my antiques and I'll be saving up for a complete set

if you have an office depot that is going out of business.. the art supplies are 50-60% off, depending on the store..

their 120 piece set is regular $116 so it would be 50 or 60 off of that price..

I got my 132 set for $69 dollars with free shipping. Dick Blick I agree seems the best price but I waited til they had an exclusive sale and got them really cheap.

What is an 'exclusive' sale at Dick Blick? I'd be very happy with that price.
