Please join me in asking for Coluzzle replacement blades!
I have e-mailed Provocraft twice. I REALLY want them to keep on making their replacement blades, mats, and even the entire knife for people who lose theirs.
I am going to miss it SO much when I can't use it anymore! I love that I can cut circles and ovals with so many different sizes, with perfectly uniform mats! It is so much easier to cut mats with than the CM system, and the ovals are SO much better shaped than the CM ones. With the CM ones you can't make a uniform mat with their oval cutter.
Help me here? http://www.provocraft.com/company/feedback.php
The Coluzzle shape cutting system is among the best I've ever used, but, alas, one of the most underrecgonized and underrated great tools. :( I love it and use it ALL the time!
I don't think I'll ever part with mine. *sigh*

When I read about the Coluzzle system being discontinued, I ordered a whole bunch of replacement cutting and scoring blades. I am not taking any chances of not being able to use my favorite cutting system.
I did complain to PC for discontinuing it, but I can see how it may not be so popular after the Nesties came out with all the basic shapes.
Well, I sent an email. This system is one of my favorites and eventually there won't be blades if they don't reconsider and at least offer the blades for those of us who have and use the system.
What is the brand of the swivel knife replacement blade that works with the Coluzzle? We don't have Hobby Lobby in my area. Thank you.
You're welcome, I discovered it by accident, thought I was buying the cuzzle ones, and took them out of the package when I realized they where xacto, but tried it and they work perfectly!
Not to mention you can get them from your local craft store and not expensive at all!
You can also order replacement blades through Stampin' Up. I wonder if they will be on the Last Chance List formerly known as the Retired list that comes out on June 1st? I can help you place an order or you can locate a demonstrator in your area. Email me if you have any questions [email protected]

Actually, you can't anymore and haven't been able to for some time -- this was the news announcement made to demonstrators way back in January:

Discontinued Coluzzle Cutting System January 27, 2009
Our manufacturer of the Coluzzle has recently discontinued both the Starter Set (item 102264) and the Refill Blades (item 102721). We no longer have any inventory of the Refill Blades, and they are now unavailable for order. We will continue to sell the Coluzzle Starter Set until inventory has been depleted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Done, thanks for the info. I didn't know Coluzzle was being discontinued. I'll check Ebay and maybe others can keep us informed of any other sources for replacement knives.

I got a reply to my e-mail, and again they said they won't be making anymore replacements for the Coluzzle, but they would make sure to send my e-mail on.
I still don't know why CTMH still has them listed in their catalog. Their new summer catalog must have printed before Provocraft made the announcement. Is there a CTMH consultant here who knows? Wouldn't it be great if CTMH (or ANYBODY) started making them?
I will eventually have to try the X-acto replacement blades. I have heard from some though, that the blade is slighly different and causes you to knick your template.

I agree, it's totally underrated. I love mine, and I'm not good with most tools!
Ms. Rhetta is correct! I needed a new blade as well and I found that the SWIVEL X-acto blades work just like the original Coluzzle. Just make sure you get the swivel, not regular X-acto blade. I found mine in the art department of AC Moore.
You can't get them from CTMH either. I have already tried. They like SU have discontinued them. Which really sucks. I have all these templates and my blade is getting really dull. I use my templates on a regular basis.
Spoke with Provocraft today which is the company as we all know that makes the Coluzzle products...is no longer being made as they are working towards electronic system (i.e. the Cricket) even though in my opinion the Coluzzle products are far better and economical....evident that they are loved that they cannot be found anywhere on eBay or Kijiji and yet you can find many people including myself trying to get rid of our crickets as they are far too expensive to use from papers to the sticky mats....
