Default PaperTrey Ink - Customer Service & Cardstock

I love the cardstock. It is THE BEST. However, I have trouble getting a response from their Customer Service. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have an idea HOW to contact them. Not only do I REALLY REALLY like the cardstock - I would like to place another order. The problem is with my first order (and the one I can't seem to get a repsonse about). Each of the four packages had one crimped corner. While I have worked around the minor damage - I am reluctant to order again without some reassurance that if the need arises I could get a response from PTI Customer Service.
Looking for advice...
Thanks.
Nancy

Don't know about the customer service question. However, I recently ordered some cardstock, and it was protected by cardboard corner protectors and arrived in pristine condition.

Nancy, there are many threads on SCS that address the customer service issues at PTI (try searching General Stamping). Unfortunately, they are notorious for slow/bad customer service response.

BUT, their products are so amazing that most of us stampers just try to look past it!

They have started mailing out their cardstock protected with the cardboard corner protectors like Stampaholic mentioned, but I agree, sometimes it is damaged anyway.

I don't have any great wisdom about who to contact, but you may try to jump on their Forums and see if there is any info there. There are links to their Forums from their store website. Keep the emails up, they will eventually respond, it just may take awhile.

Good luck!

They have a relatively new lady who has taken over answering customer emails. Her name is Jennifer Ellifson and she's a super sweet lady and a member here.

Give her a couple of days and she'll be sure to make it right for you. I had a chance to meet her as she lives near me and she really couldn't be a nicer, more helpful person.

I believe Jenn took over customer service months ago. Try emailing them again. But yes, I agree with sf9erfan- their poor CS is something that's been discussed here many times.

I've had my cardstock arrive with crimped corners, too. They do put protective cardboard around the ends now which helps with that issue. My last order arrived in good condition.

I love their products and I am tickled that they started putting the little cardboard things on the corners of the papers...since they starting doing this I have NOT gotten any messed up corners but it used to be a common occurance. The last time I sent them an email I NEVER got a response. I still love their products but their customer service SUCKS...blessings.

I have ordered quite a lot and not had an issue with PTI. Their new way of packaging with the cardboard around the corners is great! I think a few other companies could learn from their packaging. I just got a pack of bent 12 x 12 card stock from another very well known company. Good luck, but I am confident PTI will make it right for you.

It's probably been about 6-8 months since I ordered from PTI and cs, etc. came in excellent condition. I emailed customer service a question about my order and it took about 48 hours to get a reply which I think is a very reasonable amount of time. I couldn't believe how fast that I received my order. It was the same week.

I ordered from them last month and my cardstock was protected on both ends with crumpled paper. It arrived in perfect condition.

Additionally, I had to email them to ask a silly question. They got back to me within 3-4 days which I was please with as I emailed over a weekend.

It could be your email got lost in cyberspace. You might try again. I know that is really frustrating, but it seems as if they have gotten better in the CS area and I would give them the benefit of the doubt.

Oh, I'm sorry that I didn't see this yesterday! Coincidentally, though, I did email you last night, I believe.

Just so everyone knows, I am handling the majority of customer service emails (in addition to my other PTI responsibilities). Our policy (as stated on the website) is to get back to you in 72 hours M-F, but it is usually much less than that; we literally get hundreds of emails every week and I do answer each one individually, because we want to make sure you get the best service possible.
