Question Paper for Digital Images and Copic Markers

Help!! I have been using digital images for a while now with SU paper and TAC paper. The only problem is when I color my images with Copic Markers they tend to not blend well. What paper are do you use with your digital images? I can use all the help I can get.

Thanks.

P.S. Flourishes is too think for my printer.

I just use the Georgia Pacific cardstock from Walmart. I use the same for my regular stamping with Copic markers and it works fine IMO.

My printer jams with any paper heavier than the Georgia Pacific 110, but as long as I give the ink time to dry, the Copics blend well for me. I do occasionally have mild problems with the ink bleeding outside the lines, but then I just wait until the Copic ink is dry and use my blender pen to erase the extra.

I've never had good luck with the Copics blending on SU whisper white, even with regular stamped images.

Don't know 'em from Adam, the link came from a group.

I use HP Photopaper in Matte for all my digi printing (papers and stamps) and I don't have troubles with bleeding!

Which printer do you have? There's no way my HP5610 will take the nice, thick PTI cardstock.

I use Hammermill Color Copy Cover. It comes in 60 lb, 80 lb and 100 lb. It is REALLY REALLY smooth. The 60 eats far less ink than the 100 lb. I tend to work with 60 and 80 more, as I always layer. The people at the paper store suggested it when I told them I was looking for a paper that is ultra smooth. I had bought the Neenah, and they gave me some of the Hammermill to try. I went back the next day and bought it. BTW.... it was about half the cost of a ream of Neenah.

I also use PTI and we use the Brother LC61 series printer... my HP would never take it!

I use all my cs (Gina K. 120lb mostly) on my HP and it works great. SU! cs has a smooth coating, so it will smear with the ink from the printer as the paper runs through the rollers. Here's a thread that might help you.

Gina K for images is my best bet, (especially stamped images), such clarity

We just had a Copic class at my local scrap store and compared many, many different papers...(it was a long class)... Neenah came out as one of the favorites of many in the class.
