Default Ohio paper store

Just wondered if anyone in Ohio has been to Hollo's PaperCraft...and if you haven't been there, GO THERE ASAP! It's the most amazing place to buy cardstock and envelopes (and lots of other wonderful things) in bulk. You buy the paper by the pound...whatever combination of colors and sizes that you want. It is $1 per pound. If I remember correctly, the 8.5 x 11 cardstock is around 20-30 sheets per pound, depending on the weight of your cardstock. The 12 x 12 is around 10 - 20 sheets per pound, again depending on the weight. Can you imagine getting an average of 20 sheets of cardstock for $1 total? No kidding, this place is amazing!!!! They also have tons of colored "paper" that is not as heavy as the cardstock but would still make wonderful cards. In addition to the colored carstock, they have so many options of white cardstock at the same low low low cost...different weights, different shades of white, glossy, different textures, watercolor paper, etc... Not all of the cardstock is acid free, but they do have a large large selection of acid free and an even larger selection if you don't mind making your cards out of non-acid-free paper! Plus, they sell envelopes in every shape, size, color, etc... I believe the A2 size is 4 cents each. There is a HUGE room called "The Envelope Room". There are premade packs with matching paper and envelopes. There are packs of paper in many many colors and sizes...and you can't believe how cheap they are. There are pads of paper in every size and color imaginable. I can't adequately describe how wonderful and cost-efficient this place is. Even with the current price of gas, it is worth a day's drive to see this cardmakers heaven!!!

The website doesn't really give any information about pricing, but it does give plenty of photos just so you can get a small glipse of the massive amount of paper and envelopes available. It's amazing...and amazingly cheap!

Just wanted to pass along the info for all you lucky card-makers in Ohio!!!

Default How far from Columbus

I live in Cleveland and Hollo's is about 20 minutes away from me. I'd say about 2.5 hours away from Columbus. The place is awesome. I bring my SU catalog with me to match their colors. They also have prepackaged cards and envelopes, I believe there are 10 in a package, for $.79. You really can't beat their prices!

I agree- it is probably about 2 1/2 hrs from Columbus. It really is the best place to buy the solid color cardstock! I'm about 1 hr away, but friends and I make several trips through the year and stock up! You can get an armload of cardstock for under $15! The only drawback is they don't always have the same colors...so if you find the perfect color make sure you stock up to last you!

I love Hollo's!! I have been wanting to make a trip out there to replenish my cardstock/envie supply. I live about an <hour away. It's raining up here, so maybe today would be a good day to make a filed trip there!

It's a fun place to shop and the prices are fantastic! Ooohh....I'm getting excited already!

Here is the online link to the store. It does say there is limited mailorder availability.

I LOVE Hollo's! I haven't been there in a while because I live in Columbus now and it's a bit of a drive, but I used to go there all the time! You can often find pretty good matches to SU colors, and they have a lot of textured cardstock, so even if you already have the color from SU, you can get a textured version. They also have a bunch of other papercrafting and art supplies, but sometimes their prices on those aren't as amazing - you just have to be aware of what the going rate is for things to make sure you're getting a deal.

I didn't see this thread until now. I love Hollo's!!! I used to live in Painesville and was in a stamping club there. Our club would make field trips to Hollo's at least twice a year. Sometimes there would be so many of us that we would have to take 3 or 4 cars!! I moved to Cortland about 5 years ago and I'm in a new card club now and none of the women have ever been there but they all want to go. I think we are going to plan a field trip soon! That's good for me because I haven't been there in awhile and it's so much fun to go.

Hollos is about 2 hours from Columbus. It's really not a bad drive considering all the goodies you get! I usually meet up with some NEOH girls and shop!

Actually, A2 envelopes are .04 cents apiece! You can buy as much or as little as you want in every imaginable color.

I love Hollo's too. I'm very lucky... it's right up the road from me. About 15 minutes. I love to buy their giant bags of white envelopes. Then I can stamp them and don't have to worry about the color being off. The big bag of 100 white envelopes is around $8.00 I think. I haven't been there in a while... I'm quite stocked!!!
