Hi. I am trying to identify the name of an embossing folder. I think that it might be a Cuttlebug folder? I saw a similar one on eBay that says it is a Cuttlebug "fabric swatch quilting" embossing folder but that one only has dotted lines VERTICALLY across the folder. The one that I want has double dotted lines that are both vertical and horizontal that form squares. (It is NOT the "Plaid" embossing folder or the "Tartan Plain" embossing folder). Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
My suggestion is that you do an internet search for 'plaid embossing folder' and select 'images' and you'll get lots of photos of plaid embossing folders that you can look at to see if you find yours. Ebay and Amazon searches also may provide the info that you need.
I just did an internet search to try to help you, but there are many embossing folders that met your high-level description so I would not know which one you might be looking for.
If you can provide us with a picture, we can help more accurately.
HTH.

Thank you both for your replies. I really appreciate it. The Darice folder is not the one that I was interested in, but it is very pretty so I will probably end up buying that one! I am a brand new member here so as soon as I figure out how to post a picture I will. I just took a picture of the one that I am interested in. I bought some already made card front toppers at the beginning of the year before I got my own embosser so I have no idea what the name of it is and would like to buy the folder for myself now that I have one. Thank you!
Nova, look for the icon that looks like a mountain in the group of icons that is over the box area where you type your message. If you hold your mouse pointer over the icon it says 'Insert Image'. Click on that icon and follow the directions.
And WELCOME to SCS.

I think she may have to have 5 posts before the board will let her post an image....
Thank you both for the advice on posting a picture!! I appreciate the help. I did that so am just waiting for it to be approved now since it doesn't automatically post since I am a new member.
Thank you also for the welcome. Now I just have to figure out how to find my way around and hopefully join a challenge or something.
I did a quick look-around but didn't find the folder you're describing, unfortunately. I just wanted to add my WELCOME to our community! You'll love it here - we all do!
Thank you for the link bjeans. That one isn't it either unfortunately. I will try again today to post a picture of the finished product. I tried yesterday but apparently I hadn't made enough posts yet for it to be posted to my link. This should do it since it brings me up to 5. Thank you again everybody for trying to help!
I think I found what you're looking for...at least the name of the folder. However, actually finding one may be another story. Tell me if this is what you're looking for:
It's called Cuttlebug Square Patch Quilting Embossing Folder and it's a 4x6 folder.
I made a screenshot of the search page, since I'm sure that it won't look the same in a week, and it's attached below. It's next to the one that you referenced in your post.
Oh thank you SO much! That is the one!!! I have been searching on Google for the last couple of days and didn't come across it. I can barely see any more I have looked at so many tiny pictures of embossing folders….LOL I really appreciate you posting that for me. Now that I know the name of it I can just search for it til I find it. I doubt that it will be easy to find, as you said, since I haven't seen it posted anywhere at all in all of my searches. It s a HUGE start though to finally know the name. Thank you again very much! Have a wonderful weekend.
Oh - and I wish that I was there with you! I lived in Co Springs and Pueblo for over 30 years and am now living in Western MA. Sure like CO winters a lot better than here!
