Question Need glue help!!

I have been using zip dry glue and love it. I love how it is clear and you can rub it off. I can't seem to find it at my craft stores and I have ask and they will not be selling it any more. so do any of you know of a glue that is like zip dry glue. I did try the Elmer's quick dry glue and I just am not happy with it like I was with the zip dry glue. I want something that is clear and I can rub it off if it gets on a spot I don't want it. I am hoping someone knows of something like zip dry glue. help me please!!!

Yes it is online but not at the store I go to. I just don't want to order online so I was hoping someone had something that was like it.

I've gotten it at Joann's. It's been a while as I still have quite a bit of it. I also use the Scotch quick dry both in white and in clear. I like the white as if I use a damp cloth it comes right off. Good luck with your search. I would check joann's if you're near one.

summerfun, I don't know where you live, but if you google it, there are a number of retailers that carry it. Hopefully, although your favorite store may no longer carry it, someone nearby will. (although, if you find a great alternative, nothing wrong with that.)

Beacons 3-in-one is really close to zip dry also made by Beacons. I get mine at Michaels.

Zip Dry is THE BEST! Hobby Lobby has it in the craft adhesives section. My Joann's store quit carrying it, but occasionally has it on sale online. My Michael's store has it at times. I found the best online price at Scrapbookpal.com at $4.90 and free shipping over $25. I tried Mono Multi and Best Glue Ever and was disappointed that they made the cardstock wavy like it's wet and do not roll off like Zip Dry. I did just get a square adhesive eraser from Joann online that removes the Mono Mistakes.

I have never used Zip Dry. What is the difference between it and rubber cement? It sounds so similar.

I used Rubber Cement when I first started stamping and before I found SCS!
1. It stinks. 2. I turns yellow. 3. It does not permanently stick. I made a detailed card with small punched flowers in the shape of a heart and after sitting for about a month the glue turned golden and flowers fell off. I can't imagine what happened to all those Autumn leaves cards after I send them!
Zip Dry has a great applicator top, any mistakes can be rolled off with your finger, even after a month. It allows you 'slip time' to get your item in the right place. It sticks paper, wire to cards, any embellie, plastic flat-backs, etc.

P. S. I just saw a pop-ad at the bottom of SCS page for Scrapbookpal.com with 10% off first order with (I think) SCRAP10 code.

i assume you do not have a joann's close by? That is where I get my zip dry glue whenever I have a coupon. Another I have that I also like Helmar 450 quick dry glue.

I was at my HL the other day and I saw it in the adhesive section too. They don't carry very much glue in the paper crafting section. They have SOOOO much other adhesives in the adhesive section.

I know you just ordered online, but if you live anywhere near a Walmart, try there - that's where I get mine. I live in Canada, so if it's in a WM here, it should definitely be in a WM in the States. If anything, the Canadian Walmart stores have less stock than those in the US.

Yes I did look in my WalMart and they did not have it. I don't know why the stores don't have it were I am.
