Can anyone refer me to websites or any advice on how to use different ribbons on your cards? Like the different kinds of ribbons and different ways to tie them, bows, knots etc. I have no idea how to use the few ribbons that I have but I think they would look so pretty on cards.

Thanks Whitney for the tip. I am also looking for the "how to" with ribbons. There were way too many results to go thru when I tried on SCS. I guess I'll try googling unless someone else wants to help me out.

Kimberly and Andrea, you both deserve the award of: "MOST HELPFUL" for today! Well done! I hope I get some time soon to try some of those great ribbon cards!

37. Cut two little slits in the sides of a Metal Edge Tag and thread it onto ribbon. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
38. Wrap one piece of ribbon around the layer of the card and attach a different colored piece with a simple overhand knot for a two-tone ribbon look. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
39. Attach a charm or WireWorks charm to a piece of ribbon. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
40. Create a "buckle look" by threading ribbon through 2 holes punched in one layer of a card and then wrapping the ends of the ribbon around another layer. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
41. You can make an organdy ribbon curl and twist by heating it with a heat gun until it starts to melt. Be careful not to overheat or holes will be burned into your ribbon. Sorry, don't have a link to a scan of one of these.
I just want you to know that I clicked on every one of them. There are some unique ways to use ribbon!!!! I love ribbon and sort of have a lot of it, and it's been inspirational to see all these uses.
Thanks so much!!!

Woweeeeeeee! You girls are great....thanks for taking all the time to come up with the examples....I also enjoyed looking through them all and even saw a few new ideas! Thanks again.
I have been collecting ribbon for years and have a bunch of it. I never use it... maybe I am just scared of it. But, ladies, with all these examples I am going to start using it all up so that I can buy more. Ribbon is sooo pretty...
Thanks again for all your work and in finding all the examples too.
41. Fold small leftover piece of ribion in half and attach it to the side of a strip of paper with a brad to make a "handle." Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Wow!! How about using it to embelish the hole in a bookmark?
And of course almost all of these great ideas could be used for fibers and raffia.....
