Default Mini 8's

I am a cardmaker and considering purchasing these punches. I have used the larger punches at a crop and loved the finished 12 x12 papers. Does anyone have these mini's yet and what do you like or dislike about them.
Thanks

Can you give us a link to what they are?

Well they are made by We R Memory Keepers, the originals were made to use with 12x12 cardstock and I think were called Lucky 8's. You punch all four corners and then turn the paper over and punch those four corners. I'm think the mini's must be for cards as the punches are much smaller. Was hoping there was a You Tube video or something out there.

From their website, it says for card making and looks like they work the same as the Lucky 8's. Sorry I can't help more, but they certainly look interesting.

I would love to get some of these punches since I've been getting back into scrapbooking again. The mini would be excellent for smaller 8x8 albums, but I think it would be a little too big for my cardmaking since I usually only make A2 size cards - the finished size on the mini is 6"

I bought the snowflake one recently at my LSS but haven't used it yet. I think it might be big "as is" for A2 cards but I still couldn't resist. I guess some folks will be getting larger cards this year (most are hand delivered).

I do want to try punching with a smaller square to see if the principle still works but won't likely have a chance to play for awhile. If someone else gets to try smaller squares I'd appreciate hearing about the results (TIA!)

BTW, the current Paper Wishes catalog had several of the mini 8 punches (I think for $19.99 which might be a bit high as that's only slightly less than the price at my LSS - but I had a coupon and got for around $13). My purchase was on impulse and I haven't done any cost comparisons.

Happy Crafting!
