Martha Stewart owl punch

I was looking at the new owl punch at Michael's today. does anybody have it? What do you think of it? Thanks

I had bought it, brought it home and it didn't punch right so i took it back. I have heard others having the same problem with just the owl punch.

I do not know about the owl punch but there seem to be a lot of complaints about the fence border not cutting through thicker cardstock and the snowflake border punch that is supposed to punch some snowflakes and emboss others.

I have the snowflakeborder and I am disappointed with the embossing part. I can hardly see it. It is not very raised at all.

I got the cupcake punch. Cute. punches nice. I also go tthe gingerbread border punch today. still have a 40% coupon to use. When I checked out I got a 50% coupon for next week withthe sales slip!

I really like my owl punch/embosser and it works really well. I also have the cupcake one and it's super cute.

I have the owl punch. I like it and it works just fine. I did have the fence border punch and returned that because it just did not work.

I just bought the skull and bones. It doesn't completely punch and I am returning it tonight. I should've known better as the box was taped up. There was also paper in the punch from the previous owner!

This is not the first punch I have had to return from the MS line. Beware of the heart with lines in it also.

i dont have it, but tried it out when we first got it at michaels, and it was really cute. I had the idea to put little wiggle eyes on it, bought those, but haven't bought the punch yet, LOL. I guess i am hoping to be inspired by the use of it on here by someone before i actually buy it! So give us a link if you have and made anything with it! thanks!

I too have the owl punch and the little heart punch, when I looked at the punched out images closely I saw that there are 2 tabs to hold the image in place (one on each side) on both punches, so I googled it and found this.. so it is not really faulty at all

A note about “DOUBLE PUNCHES”

Double Punches (necessary to create a shape with a hole within the shape) are designed in such a way that you are actually getting 2 punches doing the work at the same time. Because of this, the Martha Stewart double-punches will seem to “not punch all the way through”. This is normal. Your shape should remain attached to the paper with 2 little “tabs” which will need to be cut. This can easily be achieved with a blade knife (such as an x-acto knife). Please be assured the punch is not defective in any way. The little tabs prevent the punchout from getting stuck in the punch.

I recently got the bow punch and I LOVE IT....it punches great and is so cute on cards...there are so many more I want to have but my MS punch drawer is getting way full...lol
