I haven't seen an icicle punch yet, but I bought an edge punch at Michael's that was with the Halloween stuff. I figured I could use it for icicles too.
Here's a card I made using it, it's the black strip at the top of the main image, and the dp.
I just got the icicle punch at Michael's but I'm in northen NJ. Actually, I'm still in shock that they had it! We never get anything new in that store. :(

The Icicle border punch was in both the Christmas section and the MS section. The Gingerbread border could have been in both (having a hard time remembering) but it was definitely in the MS section.
Good Luck! I hope you can find them! :-D
BTW, I LOVE your avatar! I'm a kitty lover, can you tell? LOL
My Michaels sold out of the gooey border punch way early and said they would not get any more Halloween stuff. They have a lot of the MS Christmas, but no icicles punches at all.
I just got back from Michael's and they didn't have this punch ... not even a peg or SKU sticker for it. I'm wondering if they'll be carrying it at all. They had plenty of the star, snowflake and gingerbread border punches though.

Same thing at the Michaels here...the MS Christmas display is now full and no peg hook/sku for the icicle punch either. Are only select stores carrying it?
Someone just posted on another thread (sorry, I can't remember her name) that www.marthastewartcrafts.com has them in stock again. They are $14.99, plus $7.95 for shipping. Which I think is too high. It's ground UPS shipping, so it says that it takes 7-10 days to get to you. Soooo, if you really want one and are willing to pay the $7.95 for shipping, RUN, DON'T WALK!!
it must be something they're only selling in certain stores. I called 2 Mike's and went to WM...no luck. WM didn't have any border punches and Mike's don't even have a peg for them so it seems they won't be getting any. I did find a holly punch at WM though. I haven't seen that one anywhere yet. I got so lucky with the drippy and fence punches at Halloween...I managed to snag the last one of each.
I just looked on the Martha Stewart web site. Last night the icicle punch was listed but sold out, this morning it isn't even listed. What do you think that is about?
I was at AC Moore yesterday and they had the MS Christmas punches out and I didn't see an icicle edge punch. They still had some MS packaging to put out, but it looked like all the punches were out, but you never know.
Our Michael's didn't get it - snowflake border, gingerbread border, but no icicle punch.
Now I am concerned that my other MS punches won't work with SU carstock based on posts in other threads... better go try them and return them if they don't.
I bought a double lace doily edge from Walmart (Michaels was out). The only way to get it to cut through SU cardstock (which is basically all I use in solid colors) I had to keep the punch on a solid wood table or the ranite countertop and press down - HARD! A lot of other punches I can squeeze midair and they work fine - not this one, I am going to test the others I have recently purchased to make sure they all work.
I think that the doily punch is so detailed that it makes it really hard to punch cardstock.
I worry that I will break it handle off while punchin...If I do I will exchange it for another because it is so darling.

I have a theory on the icicle punch. Drippy goo too...I think there were a limited amount manufactured..I think MS crafts will manufacture more for next year. Why wouldn't they want to have a proven seller available to as many crafters as possible...CHA CHING!!!! I think the "Collectible 2008
Snowflake" was called that to generate a "collectible" frenzy
I think Drippy goo and Icicle will be back next year...Like the Bat was
(at least I hope so...I have drippy goo...But I WANT icicle.

That's the only experience I can offer thus far.
Okay just went and tested each on a piece of SU Cardstock. Here are the results I obtained:
Regular punches: Elephant - it was fine, I didn't realize the ear is cut so you can bend it slightly for dimension - SO ADORABLE! (ellies have always been my favorite anyway); I totally love this little guy! Ice cream cone - worked fine Cupcake - worked fine Sheep - fine Reindeer - fine Dove - fine - I got the white one from Michael's with a coupon rather than the light green one from Walmart. I don't know if there is a difference other than the color and the retail price ($8.97 at Walmart, I think it was $9.99 at Michael's without the coupon). Owl - this is an embossing punch, I didn't realize that when I selected it. Guess that is why it was $12.99 without a coupon rather than $9.99 like most of the other punches (I was wondering what was up with that, figured it was just because owls seem to be hot right now). It punches... okay... but the embossing is not consistent. It takes a very specific amount of pressure to get the desired result. The first time I didn't press hard enough and the image barely embossed and didn't punch through all the way. The second time I overcompensated and punched so hard the the embossing tore the paper more than it embossed it. The third time was... acceptable. I am going to keep it because I think the little owl is cute, but I think it will take a lot of practice to get it right.
Border punches: Gingerbread - worked fine on the second try, again, had to be on a hard surface and pressed pretty hard Embossed Snowflakes - this one is going back, no matter how hard I punched the snowflake would not emboss very well at all; might work okay for other people but since I am not going to call someone else to punch it for me every time I want to use it I don't see the point in keeping it. I just hope Michael's will take it back; I have the receipt and the packaging.
Anyway, those are my results and opinions. Not sure if they help anyone or not, but there they are.
I e-mailed EK Sucess and no response from them. (that was 3 weeks ago)
I e-mailed [email protected]and they responded right away and wanted to know more information about when and where I purchased my punch.
E-mail said they would forward it to their craft design team for review.
Here's hoping.
Its a shame that some dont work well, she really does come out with cute ones.

Thank you for all your hard work testing these! I think Martha should hire you for Head of Quality Control. There is certainly something wrong with how they are handling it now! I have been pretty lucky-all my punches work. I am DISAPPOINTED in the embossing part of the snowflake border though. I can barely see it.
I would have thought Martha stuff would be MUCH better quality. After all, she has her reputation to maintain.
Maybe we should all write letters to her.

Hi!
My lace doily one works fine BUT I have found out that to get it through heavier cardstock, like SU, I have to use my right hand to punch AND at the SAME TIME put my left hand on that long top piece (the one with the design on it) and push down hard to hold it in place. And, of course, I have to have the punch on a table. No way could I be holding it in the air. If I do all this, it's fine.

Awww, you are sweet Kitty. It wasn't much work at all. Though the idea of getting paid to play with crafting goodies would be fun!
I'll let you know if Michael's gives me a difficult time about returning the snowflake border punch.
I also returned my embossed snowflake border punch today. I don't think she realized the package had been opened... I didn't volunteer the information. I could not get the embossed snowflake to consistently look good. So disappointing. Doesn't match the design on the box. Martha needs to go back to the drawing board on that one. :( Bought the branch punch instead.
Stillno icicle border punch at Michaels this Monday. Nothing at either Walmart either. Ours have been more sluggish to put out new stuff though. Will let you know if I find this in the future.
I had a lace doily punch of her and didn't even use it for 5 months, how's that for 'having to have it' addictions, but I brought it back and they gave me a new one, I started to give a song and dance story and the women wasn't interest and just gave me the new one. Got to love that!! but I was happy anyways, I figured that I wasn't the first one to bring back a MS punch
Yeah!!! So after almost a year of trying I finally got the MS Icicle punch today at Michaels. It was the last one on the rack. Very happy with myself for stopping on my way to the grocery store.
Now if I could just remember why I wanted it sooooo bad. I'm sure it will come to me, just might take another year.
