Okay, maybe I'm missing the boat completely on her punches. But, does anyone have the fence edge punch? How do you use it? If you try to put a border on the bottom of the card front, the fence is upside down? Is the dripping goo one the same? Thanks to anyone who can set me straight on how to use this punch.

I have the fence punch, but am using it not as a border. I have punched out my Halloween fences out of black paper and then will attach them to other paper, as a fence. The gooey one can be used as a true border punch if you want. I've used mine to make icing on a cake! It's really a fun one. Hope that helps ya.
And where did you ladies happen to find the Goo punch? I looked at our good ol' walmart in Martha Stewarts new line but it wasn't there- and no hook saying it should be...

I found both the Goo punch and the fence at Michael's today. I went out specifically to get these. The first store was sold out and at the second one I found the fence but no Goo. The kind sales clerk told me she'd check overstock and she found some. YAY!!!!! I am planning to test them out tonight.
FYI- Michael's told me that they now allow only one 40% coupon per person per day. :( They used to take one Michael's and one JoAnn's per transaction. At JoAnn's I can use as many coupons as I have no problem.

I ordered mine straight from the Martha Stewart website.
I used the fence punch at the bottom of a piece of black cardstock, then I used the ScorPal to make a line about 1/8 inch down from the fence. I then folded the fence UP and dropped in a sheet of watercolor paper as my background behind the fence. It works very well this way!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
I don't know if anyone is interested or not, but I bought 2 drippy goo punches last week when I was at mikes. I didn't have a coupon so they were 15.95 each but if anyone would like to buy my extra, I would ship it out the cheapest way possible. let me know. Michelle Leavitt
Oh no, virpags, don't feel stupid! I had to sit and look at it for a while to realize how to use it myself!
And Cathy H, I don't have a gallery yet! I just found this place this morning. I've been a stamper for years but just stumbled upon this site. How could I have missed all these great techinques and the amazing gallery pics for so long???
I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning exploring all the sights on here.
LexicaP BEWARE this site is SOOOO addicting!!! I have been a fanclub member for 2 yrs and this is the ONLY site that I am on DAILY!!! and that includes the SU website for Demos!!!
I dont have thses and this is slightly off topic, but I saw them at M's last week and I was thrilled to see them package in Halloween colors/design, my hope is that after Halloween they will be on clearence do to the packaging...
Yes, Michael's now lets you use their coupon on Martha Stewart products (unless, of course, they are already on sale). I bought ALL the Halloween punches with coupons.
Just be aware - the skull and crossbones may not punch all the way through. I tried many of them after I bought one and had to return it. None of them worked any better. This has happened with other punches in the line and I haven't written to the company to complain, but I would think the returns would send a message eventually.

Hi Cheryl!!!
I bought the goo punch & single pumpkin punch on Friday @ Michael's (both were on sale for 25% off). The goo punch works fine, but the pumpkin punch takes some work to punch through. It has some embossing to it as well (lines on the pumpkin) so that might be why it's kind of tough.
I love the goo punch, just need to get better about lining it up!
Thanks so much for the information! I have found several of her border punches and more of a variety than our Mike's at times at our local Woodman's store and they are $10.99 there. Better deal with the coupon though!
I tried all the fixes for the skull - sandpaper, foil...but nothing worked. I ended up buying one anyway because I love the skull and it can be snipped out once it's almost punched. But that shouldn't be necessary.

My local Michael's stores have been out of the goo border punch since it came out, practically, but I found it at Archiver's...and used a coupon. Score! So if you have one handy...
I bought the skull and the pumpkin punches and neither of them punches all the way through! It must be a flaw in manufacturing. I'm with clee1953, I like the skull punch too much to take it back. I'm returning the pumpkin. It's not that cute and I have others that will suffice. I just snipped the final bits on the skull and it was okay.
I'm not happy about it though. I'm holding an event for a group of women with fibromyalgia (trying to get them out of the house and doing something fun!) and I'm doing some good old fashioned paper bag books with a Halloween theme. I need quite a few of these skulls/bones so that's going to be a lot of extra work with trimming them all. I'm making up little kits ahead of time since none of these women stamp or papercraft - they will just be arranging, minimal cutting, and lots of gluing and hopefully lots of laughing.

When's your event? Since I have the punch, I could punch a bunch of skulls for you. No charge!

I bought the fence punch and it won't punch all the way through either and it gets hung up on the paper. GRRRR! I am going to try the wax paper and tin foil but if they don't work I'm taking it back. It looks like it will be a pain in the rear to use on cards anyway because it's not a true border punch. But I haven't had a really good chance to try it because it's not working properly. Thankfully the goo punch works well for me.
I thought about looking for the spider web this weekend. Any negative experience with that one?
My spiderweb punch also does NOT cut all the way through. At least the edges are straight...but I think I will write to the company and tell them how much trouble we've been having. I would think Martha Stewart wouldn't want her name associated with shoddy merchandise.

I agree. It's obviously a widespread problem of we wouldn't all be having the same experience.

Thought I would let you know that the Embossed edge pumpkin punch is also upside down. I sent a message to Martha Stewart.com and to EK Success but never heard back. I have not been able to find the Goo edge punch (my Micheal's was wiped out almost immediately of the edge punches). I will try Martha Stewart's store.

I have the fence punch and it works fine... I've used it TONS too...
I have the web punch & it doesn't punch all the way through. I've been able to use scissors easily enough but like someone else said, I shouldn't have to!
Are you dissatisfied with the punches then? Was the cardstock you were using too thick?

I have the spider web punch also. At first I thought there was a problem because it was not punching all the way through. I read on the Martha Stewart website that it is designed to make "die-cut flaps that act as photo corners." Or, you could cut through the card stock and use the shape as a decoration.
