I got this with a coupon from Michael's a few weeks ago. It looks very promising (punches out three different flower pieces at a time, one big and two little hydrangea parts) and I love hydrangeas. Well, I cannot figure out how to assemble them into any kind of flower.
Does anyone have this? I am clueless, apparently.
Thanks!
Hi if you go to paperphenomenon.blogspot.com & go to her latest ustream class she shows you how to make beautiful hydrangeas using that punch. They are absolutely stunning, she also shows you how to make roses using the same punch. Good luck making flowers they look fab the way Kathy does them.
Ack, I have to find some of the cards I have made from what I've used for years, the site scrappilyeverafter.com in Texas has all of the punches, stamps, etc. I love the large punches that I purchased on sale years ago and they punch out 5 or 7 pieces, some 5, some 3, I punch a heap out at a time and keep them in those little folders that have 5 slots in them, and I use the paper making tools from Punch Bunch I think it is that they show on the site.
I like this for the roses but for the Hydrangea I just love the punch and stamps to go with them are also fun, so much more. There are just SO MANY choices of everything these days, but as long as we love what we are doing, that's all that matters right? My New Years Resolution is to NOT buy so many different variations of stamps, punches, die cut machines etc and use what I have. That is going to be tough for me! LOL
Check out the sales they have too and discontinued punches etc. I've gotten so many expensive punches for 2 or 3 dollars
I am NOT affiliated, I have just done this for years and yes I have the Power Punch INVALUABLE tool for anyone but I have RA and I can use it with very painful hands, and
the books and I substitute different punches when I see a shape by another company if I have it already. It's SO much fun. I love the Crafters Pick ( spelling) glue for doing my flowers too. Thanks! Hope this helps.

I found this lady's blog quite a while ago and she makes the most amazing cards. She has a few tutorials using the hydrangea punched flowers. I just love her cards. Here is her website (KittieKraft): KittieKraft: Paper Floral Wreath Tutorial
Kittie747 had a beautiful hydrandra and instructions on her blog. Made me want to try to score that punch I do have a 50% coupon burning a hole in my pocket!

yes I tried kitties hydrangia and I did buy the punch, but I believe you could do this with any small 4 petal punch. She only uses the 2 small petals anyway..still attemping to follow her directions. Not sure if once I Puff the petals if I am suppose to squish them together before I glue them on. She doesn't say. Mine looked ridiculous. I love the rose tutorial. Now they are easy and fun..gorgeous too. I used the SU! owl punch for that one.
Oh, Kittie you are here...yeeeeay, now u can answer my question. After you puff your petals do you kind of squish them before you glue them on? Thanks for your tutorial!
