i was just droped from stampinup:( and now i'm looking for some good paper to use. anyone have any ideas?
My favorite cardstock is from Papertrey Ink! It's heavy and at a very reasonable price. They also have matching ribbon and ink to go with their stock. Not to mention I am in love with their stamps too... but seriously... their cardstock is awesome!

My favourite cardstock is from Papertrey Ink too!! Wonderful colours and nice and thick! I am in love with all things PTI Here is a link to their website: http://www.papertreyink.com/
I like American Crafts, WorldWin and Bazzill cardstocks. They each work well for card layers, bases, machine embossing and die cutting. Unfortunately, not too many stores carry these brands so they mostly need to be purchased over the internet.
Bazzill has always been my favorite cardstock, but if you are looking for a smooth white to stamp on I recently purchased some Neenah, and it works really nicely.
I like Neenah too - I got it at a printing supply shop by the ream when it was on sale.
I love Bazzill, American Crafts, and truthfully The Paper Source (a package of 10 black/10white textured) I picked up The Paper Source at Hobby Lobby and I know that Archiver's had large boxes of Bazzill in a pre-Christmas promotion. HTH.
I used to be an SU Demo many years ago, so I have a lot of their cardstock and love it and about to put in a cardstock order with the Sell-abration special. But as far as white, cream and black, I am loving Neenah and I can get that at the print supply store by the ream as Riverisis just mentioned.
The only color I need is kraft. I don't see SU carrying it, unless I missed it, but I know Bazzill does.
I have never had a chance to try PTI and Gina K papers, but from what everyone else said, they sounds awesome. I am just sticking to what I know for now.

another vote for Papertrey Ink (PTI) paper. I bought their sampler pack several months ago and WOW...the difference from the other paper I had been using.
I am hooked!

SU has kraft...page 159, with the metallic, shimmer, confetti, etc paper.

I actually buy all mine from JoAnn Fabrics. They just started carrying a new line of really nice, heavy-duty cardstock. I can't remember the name, but if you go to a JAF, they should have it - the colors are really bold and bright!!!

I've started using Faith's new papers at www.marksfinestpapers and I think that they are the best I've come across in a long time. I use to be a SU paper kind of gal but Mark's Finest papers have won me over. I love all of the names that they use for their colors too, kind of fun when picking them out. LOL
Another vote for Papertrey...though I quit being an SU demo years ago, but still buy the cardstock. I like the colors, know the quality and what to expect, it's easy to order online, and I just stock up during Sale-A-Bration.
Now if Papertrey had all the colors...or WHEN they have them all, I may convert completely.

For white, I use Georgia Pacific. I have some major paper snob friends and we were at a crop and they were raving about my smooth, heavy white cs. The one kept saying how great it was working with her copics. They seemed a little embarrassed when I told them it was GP! lol
For white I like Georgia pacific also, for solid core I like SU for sanding I like CTMH white core. I've also fallen in love with Core'dinations the Hobby Lobby here has started carrying a bunch of it, here is a link to the website so you can see what all they have, http://www.coredinations.com/
I started with SU exclusively then heard about Papertrey Ink-I love the weight of PTI paper and mostly get the white & cream as my bases & use SU for layering. However, last year I did get some of the PTI colored paper & like it just as well as SU.
I love that it comes in different size packs (12, 24, or 50 sheets) so you can get what you actually need and not be stuck with too much extra of a certain color.
They have gorgeous colors! (with matching ink, DP, buttons, and ribbons too!)
The paper is a great weight and perfect for card bases.
And the price is the best around!
