Default Koi Colorbrush Pens

Has anyone used the Koi water-based markers? I'm also wondering which ink (Memento or StazOn or Stampin Up ink) to use. The flyer also mentioned to use heavy weight, plate-finish paper? What is that? Can I use Whisper White CS or what weight CS to use?

Many Thanks!

Any water based marker requires water proof ink: Versafine, Palette, Stazon and I'm sure there are more I don't know about.
I don't know what a plate finish paper is, but if I were going to work with the Koi markers, I would use water color paper, they're designed to hold up to a lot of moisture without pilling or tearing. There are a lot of different brands of water color paper at any craft/art store, most would work well with water based markers. I wouldn't use regular cardstock if you plan on wetting the paper with markers and water, it just won't work very well. HTH.
