Default JustRite font kits - which one?

Hi there,

Can anyone lend their wisdom as to which font set to get? I'm not talking about the actual font name (Curlz vs Special Occasion) but instead I'm trying to choose between:
a) Curlz Letter Kit with Stamper
or
b) Curlz Complete Font set

The Letter Kit comes with a 95pt alphabet set and two 50pt font sets (as well as a stamper and borders), whereas the Complete Set comes 95pt, 50pt and 25pt alpha/number/symbol sets.

So I see that the Letter Kit doesn't have numbers or symbols in the 95pt. Also, can the 25pt set be used in the borders, or is the Small Letter Set (around $5) better for that?

I just can't figure out which one I should get...

Thanks for your help!

I went through the same thing and finally decided to get the big font set. I'm not sure if the 25pt can be used in the border groove, can't remember. But, I have really liked the symbols that people have used on their projects. Go to the JustRite blog for tons of great projects, maybe that can help you decide (justritestampers.blogspot.com). Good luck!

Hi there,
Thanks for your reply. I just had to laugh when you suggested to go to the JustRite blog because the more projects I see the more I want it all! ;) I'll try to find a sample that uses all 3 font sizes, so I can see how they compare (especially to see the 25pt size vs the separate small letter font set). If I get the full font set then I'll end up spending a lot more (because I'd have to buy the wooden stamper, and I do like those borders!), which could lead to greater chance of getting dinged for duty & taxes - ugh.
Hopefully some more people will chime in with their experiences.
Thanks again!

The 25 pt can not be used in the border...it's too big.

Hi Denise,

Thanks for the info - I was hoping you'd stop by, being the resident JustRite expert...

I think I've found some samples that show the sizes so I'm getting a better idea of what the different pts can be used for.

Thanks again,

nina

As soon as the Stampin Champion contest is over there will be some posts comparing font sizes and the different wood block sizes as well. You can email me any time with questions at [email protected]
