I have had my eye on these for awhile..but am not sure what I need to start and how they exactly work. Can anyone tell me more about them and if they are worth the investment.. What would I need to buy to get started with them????

It all depends on if you think you will really use them. I thought I would, bought 5 sets, and have used them maybe 5 times in a year. Should have just bought 1 to try, but I am a gotta have it all just incase kind of gal...so if you want to start out small...I would get 1 set with the wooden handle not the self inking one, sometimes hard to get a crisp impression and you have to have so many pads for different colors. There are soo many more sets now than a year ago, so have fun.
I agree...start with one of the wooden stampers. I love the small alphabet but you do have to be careful not to lose them! They come with tweezers and once you open it you'll know why! If you use the wooden stamper you can use your regular ink pads for the most part.
Worth it? well per card not necessarily (not yet for me anyway) - however as much as monograming goes in and out of "favor" it is NEVER out of style and I got mine for long term investment. Stuck for any card idea for someone just get that out and stamp in whatever stamp color and cut with my nestabilities and bit of either designer paper or some embossed cardstock and a nice classy personal card. I have two sets of the smallest alphabet - those things do like to take flying lessons!
I've been wondering about these too. I'm interested in creating my own sentiments in the circle shape. Does Just Rite have this ability? Would one purchase an alphabet set that would go around the circle and do they have sizes that fit into the circles too?? Are they made in a size that a punch would cut out the circle? What would I purchase to start doing the circle thing? Sorry for all the questions.

I just got my order from Stampingscrapping.com for the new 2" wood stamper with bonus 15 pt font set and center ($10.95).
I am very pleased with it and yes, you can make your own sentiments in a 2" circle with this set. I also bought the very tiny letters (6 pt, $4.95) which can be used with this set. This company has a lot of the JustRite stampers and their prices are very good. The little letters are tedious to work with but I love the results.

Here are two samples from my blog of what I have done with the small alphabet:
I'm also attaching as thumbnails (I hope!) two close ups of a gift set I did for a friend (it was posted on my blog in November, but I cropped these pictures for a better view).
I luv my JustRite stampers, the best one that I use the most are the blocks that I can personalize myself with their fonts. They just came out with the horizontal on that I need to get with the new lower case fonts. I bought the self inking one & that was a big mistake, I don't like it at all, I tried it once & never did make a card with it. I find that I don't get a crisp image & there was always too much ink when I played with it. Chalk that one up to one of my worse purchases. All the other sets I love!
I have like 8 sets of these with all the different blocks and several different fonts. I love these. I am looking for the best price on the two rectangle blocks now.
Blessings,

I just went over to the blog and saw more that I "need" - oh dear - and I did use my JSstamps today with my rectangle block, - just waiting for a day with some sunlight to get a decent picture!
I have the Curlz font set with wooden stamper, the Times Roman set and the Small Letters set. I find I don't use the Times set as much as I thought I would because it bugs me the way the letters don't always look perfectly straight (a little obsessed about things being straight!). With the Curlz, it doesn't really matter because of the way the letters are... well, curly! I probably wouldn't mind getting a 2nd set of the Curlz in the future.
I love the versatility of these stamps. I wish the Small Letters stayed in a little better as I find they're a pain to clean. Great for doing batch stamping though.
I love the new larger wooden stampers they have with the double ring. So many possibilities...

Blessings,
www.scrappersmusthaves.com has the rectangle set on sale for $14.95 right now. They ship extremely fast!
I've been looking at these for a while and finally placed a order last Monday. I purchased the 2 3/8" circle wood stamper with 25 pt font and cupcake center, Favorite occasions borders and centers, 1 5/8" circle wood stamper and small letters, 10 Design centers and borders and Celebrations demi sayings. Sorry to bore you but I can't wait to get these! I placed a pretty big order since the shipping was $7.95, if you know what I mean.
I have been looking at the stamps for awhile and I'm just not sure what I want to buy to get started with. I picked up a rectangular stamper and the Times letters but for some reason am a loss with the circle ones. So undecisive!
I have to say I love my JustRite stamps! I have quite a few. They're great for those stamps that you don't have the right sentiment for. Just create your own! I love my Curlz font too!
I justified my circle ones based on who I could make gifts for! I got the ones with the borders only and the one that has the silverware! Love them all! Especially the one that says "From The Desk Of..." That one could be male or female in my opinion!

I got that set because I thought it could do for so many gift ideas - from teachers, to people you just don't know that well etc.

Thanks so much for this link. I just now ordered from them.

I just wanted to chime in also and say how much I love thier stamps! I got the rectangle blocks, and am so happy that I did! Of course, the price held me back for a while (I could have gotten another font set!) but the investment was well worth it. Back at the holidays, they had a great BOGO offer, and a friend and I split, I got that holiday set with the HUGE circle stamper...(which I have yet to make anything with, but I have it, just in case... ;) )
Those little letters are awesome - though I agree, if those tweezers slip - say goodbye - little letters fly away!! This was one of my favorite projects I did with them...
