Default iron ons to die cut?

Does cricut or someone else make iron on sheets that can be die cut? In other words, I want to run the sheet thru the machine and iron the image onto clothing.

I'm not sure, but I think I saw something at Michael's, iron-on sheets in the t-shirt/paint isle...came in packs of 8.5x11 sheets??? Has anyone else seen this?

I know that there is iron-on vinyl that people use to cut patterns/designs out, then adhere them to a t-shirt.

hth!

You can make your own sheets with fabric and the rolls of ThermOWeb product at JoAnns. I think it might be called Wonder Under? Shoot, I forget the exact product name, but it comes in a roll, and you iron it on to your fabric. From there, you can adhere your fabric/web backed sandwich on your Cricut mat, or cut it just like paper with your manual die cutter.

There are two weights--lite for when you're going to stitch around the edge like an applique, and heavy for when you just want to iron on the shape and be done. I've used both, and they both launder well.

The product mentioned in Post #4 is called Heat and Bond. You would be best to get the red package as it's iron on. Just be certain to iron it on the fabric very carefully and smoothly. Be certain it's completely adhered in the area where you will be cutting. Be certain to remove the liner paper and put the material to be cut with the fabric side up on your sticky mat. It's best to use a brand new sticky mat and a new blade. Be certain the fabric is very smooth and completely stuck to the mat. Blade Pressure on Medium and Speed on Medium. Use a thin cotton or cotton/polyester blend fabric.

There can be some hit and miss if everything is not completely adhered and smooth on the mat. But it can work. I've done it several times.

It's best to use simple images and nothing very intricate.
