Default Inka Gold vs Treasure Gold

I am thinking of getting one or the other of these. I'd like to get some input from people who have used both or either.

My questions are:

Do they both have a strong odor? Is one worse than the other?
Can you stamp on top of either of them with Archival Ink? I know Stazon works on everything, but I don't use it.
How are they different from each other?

I keep hearing that Inka Gold dries out quickly in the jar. I also hear that Treasure Gold has a very strong odor. I think I saw someone using Archival Ink to stamp on Treasure Gold, but can't find anything regarding Inka Gold.

Any help would be appreciated.

Robin, I've used both. The smell is not very strong. You can reconstitute the Inka Gold with water if it dries out too much. Loll Thompson had made some beautiful backgrounds and has tutorials on YouTube.

I don't know where my Treasure Gold is, and had forgotten about it until I saw your post. I remember it being very tedious to work with.

The only color of Inka Gold I have is Platinum; I make different colors by adding Gelatos to it.

I only have some inka gold and love them, once i learned never to put my fingers into the jar :( Never had a mold issue after that. I really like that I can use some water to get it going again once it gets too dry.

Can Inka Gold be stamped over with Archival Ink? Or anything other then Stazon?

Your question is NOT answered in this link but it did have helpful (imo) information about Inka Gold. Perhaps if you ask about inks there, you'll get a response! Please share if you do.

I emailed them. I'll let you know if I get a response. I would have called them, but they are in the UK.

I have 9 jars of Inka Gold that are BONE DRY... ugh I had heard that putting a baby wipe in them will refresh it, but it hasn't worked. I was going to send them back to Viva Decor but I can't find an address in the US.

Seems to be a problem with this stuff.

I just bought some Nuvo embellishment mousse. Of course, it's a paint, and can't be applied to metal. And I don't know how well it will fare in terms of staying workable.

Treasure Gold - I just think it's going to be to stinky for me. It's solvent based.
