It's so easy to make that a die hardly seems worth it. It's really just three cuts and one score. I haven't noticed anybody mention that they used a die.
I think t-rulers make measuring so much simpler - because they actually can eliminate having to measure top plus bottom, or both sides. A local arts supply store sells them for $1.99. Maybe getting an Exciting! New! Tool! would help their panic dissipate. ;)

Reason: typo
The thing about it is that, apart from scoring along the centre if you want it to fit in a regular envelope, the measurements for the cuts aren't at all critical and can be varied at will, though typically the top cut is also at the centre. It's one of the most forgiving folds I can think of, in that respect.
It is a very forgiving one. Maybe a square card would have the easiest measurements for your group? 6" card base, scored at 3", cut on one side at 3", and on the other side at 1-1/2" and 4-1/2"? All those measurements make tidy panels. You can use your paper trimmer for the cuts.
