Realize this thread is a bit old, but good info here. I just got my spica clear and LOVE the effect. It's subtle, but I think that's good. I couldn't find any of the Sakura Stardust, but I got some Tiaras--not sure if they sell those in the states--WOW! These are the sparkliest--good word, eh?--gel pens I've seen. I need to check if they have a clear, but I didn't see one. Got silver though and it's gorgeous!

Perfect Pearls. If you have mini mister bottles, take about a 1/4 t. and put in mister and then add some water to the perfect pearls. Shake the bottle and spray. It gives a good shimmer.
I also love my H2O's. They shimmer as well.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already or not, but I learned this great trick from Jennifer McGuire last week using Liquid Pearls (comes in a bottle, like Stickles, but is pearl)...

Squeeze out a little Liquid Pearl onto a scrap, take a paint brush or water brush and just "paint" your area/project with the watered down Liquid Pearl! Perfect amount of shimmer, yet totally transparent so that the color of your image shows through. I was amazed at how perfectly it worked! Hope it helps.

I use a watercolour product called 'irridescent medium' by Winsor Newton. It can be painted over the top of something to make it shimmer or mixed with reinkers or watercolour paints. I got the bottle 8 years ago and it is still going strong. Just needs a little shake now and then.
