Hello, I thought I had finally found an adhesive that I loved (a really sticky glue stick) until I just visited my mom's house (she saves all my cards) and half of them had fallen apart! What does everyone use for adhesive that REALLY works? (please be specific-- I don't know alot about the different brands). Thanks!!
Scotch ATG is the best I've found for sticking for long periods of time, sticking in all general environments (from humid to arid), and being the most economical. The gun itself costs a bit much, but I found that I'd saved enough after using ten rolls to pay for the gun. Since I tend to go through several boxes of twelve rolls of refills about every six months, it's a great deal for me and has saved me a ton on adhesive. My cards also don't fall apart years later.

i also swear by tombow mono aqua glue (its in a clear bottle with blue top)... dd also uses it for all of her craft projects and everything sticks really well.
ATG.. once it's stuck it's stuck forever. I also use either Tombow Mono Multi or Scotch Quick Dry if I want to use a liquid glue. For super stick.. Scor-Tape can't be beat.

My thoughts exactly! And I always keep some 3M double sided tape on had too.
What does everyone use to stick prima flowers and bows? Does the mono multi work for those heavier 3D embellishments? I use glue dots but my bows seem to fall off two days later.
Creative Memories tape runner is awesome. That stuff sticks forever! Also I like Beacon's 3-in-1 glue. It dries quickly and sticks really well, and it's clear.

For all of you ATG, or other double sided tape users, I have a question. Isn't it hard to get your layers straight when you don't have that few seconds of 'wiggle' room to make minor adjustments before it dries permanently? I've always been interested in the ATG, but was afraid of crooked layers. I RARELY get them stuck down perfectly on the first try, and with the Tombow Multi that I use 98% of the time, I can adjust them a little bit.
I use my ATG for paper to paper, or chipboard to paper, etc.....EK's 3-D dots for popped up stuff, I use Glue Dots for buttons and ribbons, and I use the Tombow Multi for Primas and Dew Drops and other odds and ends. I never have anything fall off, even with tons of handling.

I love mono multi ( green bottle top) I found blue bottle top to be to "wet" and bubble my paper. For real heavy stuff I use E6000. Also love glue dots try not to touch when applying and stampin'ups dimensionals.
I was tired of the layers falling off my scrap book pages when the adhesive from other small tape dispensers dried (I know this sounds wierd but no other way to describe it).
I just got the ATG 700 and I love it! I was planning on ordering the adapter so I could use the 1/4 inch tape but now I am going to buy the ATG 714 so that I will have both sizes readily available without having to change the tape. The best part, I don't lose my tape dispenser under all the scrap paper on my desk LOL!!!

I use Aleene's tacky glue, also. It gives me time to adjust my paper if needed. I really like the tape runners, but they run out so quickly!! I use regular old super glue for embellishments that need extra hold!
