eeyorestayl......Perhaps if you explain what/how you are doing it, someone could explain what the problem might be. Could be what you are using in the sandwich you are using.

Here is the link to a thread that has been running for the past few days about the same subject. Maybe it will be of some help.

I do my nesties in the cuttlebug and don't have a huge issue with embossing. Sometimes there is a slight indentation but nothing major. I mostly use SU or Bazzill or quality cardstock. Cheaper stocks may behave differently I'm not sure. I also run it through with just enough pressure to get the plates through the machine. My sandwich is as they suggest: A,C ,nestie cutting side up, CS, and B plate. Once in awhile I put the nestie upside down and my C plate gets etched. Oops!

Thanks Kathy & Loretta.
Loretta, that is the sandwich I use. And I did cut some of mine upside down, but it was the squares and no problem, I was cutting out stamped images, so I had to see what I was cutting - LOL!

I agree...so much easier to cut the shapes before stamping. ;)
I've tried it the other way and it is kind of tricky.
