I took Happy Heart's advice and bought another stamp of theirs to use for the nose and mouth "Sitting Alva". But I can't seem to get it right yet. I still only have one other stamp "Shabby Chic Tilda" and she is sitting a little side on and so it's hard to position the other stamp over it. If the stamps were clear it would be easier. I love the Alva stamp anyway, so it doesn't matter. Does anyone know of a particular black pen which would be good to use to draw in a mouth when wanted? I have tried a couple but they look different from the rest of the image (Stazon). I think too though, that it is probably only me (or another stamper) who would notice the ink difference. The kids that are given these cards I have made would never notice! LOL. I guess what I would really like is a clear stamp of a suitable face that I could just cut out the mouth and nose and use as a separate stamp, don't know if any cute little faces come in clear stamps though.

If anyone has any Tilda stamps they would like to sell I would like the opportunity to buy them.

Thanks,

Dee

The 'Copic Multiliner' is one that I use--I don't draw faces, but if the image doesn't stamp as clearly or even misses a spot I just fill it in with the multiline...the great thing is that the ink doesn't bleed, so if you are using Copics there are no worries!

I ABSOLUTELY adore these stamps! I was instantly draw to their face! My daughter on the other hand says "I just dont get the whole no face thing"! I am not so much a fan of the ones you can see the wings on--not sure why. But I defintely DO NOT like the alva series (the little elfs), those creep me out! LOL! As an aside, I have always loved the little mouse stamps, can't remember who they are by, but those are just so stinkin cute!

They are not my style, but I don't think it's nice to have a whole post dedicated to not liking them.

Yep, that is them....the sad thing is that years ago I went through a 'purge' stage and through them all out! I think in my mind, I was switching over to acrylic and that was that! Must've lost my mind! LOL! I went to HL the other day and they had some. I just have such a hard time with rubber, but mostly with sentiments or alphabets.

Thanks
