Thank goodness for those wonderful 40% off coupons!!! lol I made my dh go too, that way he'd use one for a die I was lookin at. lol He went, though, not too happily. lol So I am now the proud owner of a Sizzix Big Kick, 4 cuttlebug embossing folders and a ribbon slide die. OOO and I got a sizzix die for tags too. Wheeeeee.

I have a Bigkick and when I was in Branson last summer at a Scrapbook store, the lady there had a BigShot and was showing me how to use it, saying that it did the same thing that the BigKick did, used the same dies and all.. I got a great deal on the Bigkick with a bunch of stuff from costco.com for around $69. this was a good long while ago..
Congrats on your new purchase.. I use all sorts of dies in the machine, cuttlebug, sizzix, bosskut and more!

The Big Kick and the Big Shot are identical machines. Only difference is the color of the machine itself.
You can get Big Kicks at AC Moore, Michael's and JoAnn's. Sometimes they have all Sizzix products on sale for 30% or 40% off - and occasionally 50%!!!
Also, you can use any coupons on them. Sizzix Big Kicks at 40% off are an EXCELLENT deal! I only buy Sizzix products when they are on sale or with a coupon. All of the accessories are also available at those stores.
I'm really excited about SU having exclusive dies! Although some of the dies that SU is going to sell are available at the retail stores (again, you can use coupons for them.) I'm sure that the exclusive ones will be great to have.
