Default How to remove the foam mount from stamps?

I've been to a workshop where we used Rock A Blocks and got great images with large stamps, really enjoyed using them so I bought a set.

But I have a LOT of unmounted stamps on EZ Mount which I now need to remove. There are planty of videos and tutorials about how to remove stamps from wooden blocks, leaving the mount behind. But nothing about removing the EZ Mount...

Please has anyone tried this or have any suggestions?

If all else fails I'll try on a less loved stamp and experiment, but I would love some advice:?

Thanks!

If your stamps are on EZ Mount, you should be able to use them on the Rock A Blocks. I have the large one for BG stamps and I use it with my stamps on EZ Mount. The blocks are acrylic and the EZ Mount will stick to that. If you have 'bare rubber' stamps, try a little Aleene's Tack It Over & Over or use poster tape on the back of the bare rubber to stick it to the acrylic. HTH

If its the thin EZ Mount you should be ok. But, if its thick foam, to remove it, put the stamp in the microwave for about 15sec and the heat will loosen up the glue. If it doesn't, pop it back in the microwave for 10sec intervals, but watch because it will get hot. Another way you can try, is to put our stamp in the freezer for a couple hours. Adhesives don't like freezing cold and it will give.

Speaking of EZ mount...
Who is the best priced Canadian suppier? I want to convert some of my wood mounted stamps so they can be used on acrylic blocks.
