Do you use the scrub and the SU spray? Right now I use a spritzer bottle of water and a cloth diaper (unused of course-LOL) to wipe my stamps. I find that some of my stamps have some left over ink. What is the best method for cleaning or will they always have some residue depending upon what type of ink I use?
Thanks,
The spray mist and a scrubber are the way to go. I use Stampin Up's cleaner, but have just started using the Ultra clean on my stamps that have been inked with stazon..it is great! I don't usually have much trouble, but the versamark ink is a bit stickier and I have found that baby wipes don't do that great of a job, plus they leave fuzzies...
i use the scrub and spray and it works pretty well. i do have to go over it a few times if i use black ink or staz- on inks. for my background stamps i use a baby wipe as they are a pretty good size. i am sure some one else will come along and give you some advice too, i am pretty new at this myself. Hope i helped a little.
I do use the SU spray and scrubber and they work well most of the times. Black ink (and STAZON inks) can stain the stamps a little, but sometimes even that can be removed with tire cleaner. At first I thought it wouldn't work. But after using the stamps again and then cleaning them again with the SU cleaner, I noticed the stain was gone. I've heard that YoYo yellow helps get the black off, too, but haven't tried it yet.
I got this StazON cleaner and it works great and I also have the SU cleaner I love them both. I am going to get some baby wipes to help with the darker colors and then use the cleaner, hopefully it'll work better.
