Default Help - SU stamps unmounted

I would like to use some of my SU stamps unmounted - two reasons - one space and another is alignment of more than one stamp - now how? I know how I do other unmounted rubber stamps, but SU stamps are so sticky on their own.

I'm wondering if I should leave the backing on and use the Tack it over and over again on the backing - leaving the original alone. I hope someone can hlep.

Thanks

I have done this. It's a real sticky (lol) project to do!!! I have had no problems with taking the rubber right off the foam though. I didn't even have to put it in the microwave. But when I put ATAO it's still real sticky but doable. Over time the stickyness does seem to be less stickly. Have I said sticky enough!!!

Good luck

I peeled off all of the backing to the bare rubber. Usually it comes off very cleanly. Occasionally (older sets bought on ebay), not so easy. I am a fan of EZmount so I stamp the EZmount before I unmount using Stazon. It is a process to be sure, but I do it when I want to play in my stamp room, but I don't feel real creative.

Another option is to leave the backing on and use Tack N Peel. I really like the Tack N Peel. http://www.joann.com/joann/search/se...equestid=72415
