Mine stays out on my stamping table, within an arms reach, and I use it all the time. I love the embosslits dies and texturz plates offered by SU. They also have some great dies for favors and little gifts. I love mine. It's very cool and very fun!

*Side note...I was someone who never once onsidered getting one until SU offered it...now...I don't know what I ever did without one!!! I always thought I wouldn't use each die enough to make it worth it. I use them all the time.

If those are the only things I EVER use it for I will be thrilled.
How Funny! I thought the SAME thing when I bought mine and basically I just wanted it for the Top Note and the embossing folders...now I use it more then any of my other die cut machines. I LOVE it

JOAnns does get good prices on them. Just a reminder for any "educators"...JoAnn's offers the Educators/Teachers Discount card that is 15% off and it is 15% off even sale prices...not with coupons but sale prices.

Happy Shopping!

I got a Big Shot last week from Joann's online for $59 and free shipping--I love it! I have had a cuttlebug for more than a year, but wanted to use some of the larger dies and knew the bug could not handle them that well.

I think the $130 price tag would be a great deal--go for it!

I think that is one terrific deal, go for it. I certainly would if I had the chance.

Have a happy stamping day!

If I had an offer like that I would take it and RUN before they changed their mind! AS long as I had the cash of course...

I'm sorry if this has already been answered but after searching for quite a while I could not find out for sure if the Big Shot will cut a medium weight chipboard using one of the thicker Sizzix dies - like the large snowflake. Thanks for any info regarding cutting chipboard with the Big Shot.

It should cut that fine if you use one of the Bigz dies.

And to the OP, the $130 deal is a steal. I didn't add the prices all up, but it looks like you're getting at least $300 of product for that price.

Absa smakin lutely you should, lol... I love mine and haven't regretted it yet. I was against buying one until I went to convention last year and you guessed it, I broke down and purchased it. I LOVE it! Good luck with your decision.
