Personally, since you're asking, I would go with the BIGkick (same difference as the BigShot. It has a tad wider base for your paper than the Cuttlebug. I have to say that I do own the BIGkick, Cuttlebug and Cricut. I use all 3 of them on an everyday basis.

It's really just your personal preference. I have a Cuttlebug and love it! I bought it even after using a BigShot A LOT . . . I just liked the Bug and that it folds up. That said, now that they've come out with a black BigKick . . . .

Another vote for the Big Shot! I love it and you can use all the Cuttlebug, Quick kutz, Nestabilities dies and embossing folders in it as well.

I have the Big Kick, which is essentially the same as the Big Shot. I feel it is more study than the Cuttlebug (which I tried at a friend's).

I really love my Cuttlebug but I also have an original Sizzix and a Cricut. Use the bug the most.

I love my cuttlebug!!! I would not trade it for any other machine out there, even if someone wanted to give me a different machine. I love that it folds up so small and can pull it out quickly and easily. if i had a bigger machine, i prob wouldn't use it much cause it would be too big and just get piled with stuff on it! Plus, it isn't much smaller than the big shot because i bought the sizzix textures that work with the big shot (or others machines that width) and it fits just fine in my cuttlebug. Plus, the cuttlebug is $20 cheaper at michaels than the big kick/shot! I love my cuttlebug! get a cuttlebug, you won't regret it!!!!

My Big Shot (pink and black) is on the way from GA. My friend picked it up at Archivers for me. Yippee!!!

I didn't realize I could use other kinds of dies with it. I was thinking of using Cuttlebug embossing folders, but never thought of QK products. how cool!

I loooooove my Big Kick - I've used a friend's CB, but I like the sturdiness of my machine. You're gonna love it!!

Default Big Shot Fan!!

 I'm a Big Shot Fan!! I just love it!!! Julie had a comparison on the Bug and the Big Shot on her blog at one time....

http://papertrufflez.typepad.com/pap...tting_mac.html

I have heard from someone with arthritis that they found the cuttlebug the easiest machine to use.

I Vote the Big Shot....I have the original sizzix, cuttlebug and the Big Shot....Love The Big Shot the most. If you need to transport it, the cuttlebug is the easiest for that. But if you just use it in your scraproom, then I would definitely go with the Big Shot.

LOVE my Big Shot! Try Costco.com for a pretty good, very competitive price on the Big Shot/Big Kick (don't know which one they have in stock right now), but got my Big Shot for $54.99 & free shipping! And, I use every mfr's dies in it with no problem!

I bought the Big Shot when it first came out (before the Cuttlebug made its entrance) and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I don't care that it doesn't fold up - I wouldn't dream of ever putting it away! I love how sturdy it is.
