Hi all -- I've been absent for a LONG time - it's nice to see so many familiar names still here.
My son is getting married and I am making the invitations. I have stampin up kraft cardstock but would like something heavier for the card bases. Does anyone know a good source for a more substantial kraft cardstock.
I haven't been stamping much for the past year or so - I feel like a fish out of water!
If color matters to you...here are pics from my chips.
ok I am not used to loading. These went in reverse so the first ones are kraft like in my buff/sand group and the second set are what IDs as kraft. The name shots will tell you weight. A flipped X in the front shot means it was discontinued. This way *maybe* you can see what people are referring to.
Lighting: bright white from outside but not full on sun.
I ordered Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock from SS. I was anxious to get it since so many people use it.
What a disappointment on the weight.....only 80lbs. Does this come in 100#? I thought that was what I was getting.
I just ordered 100/110# Kraft from Ink to Paper.

Yes, it comes in both weights, and SSS sells both. What does your confirmation email or packing slip say? Here is a link to their Neenah Desert Storm products: neenah desert storm at Simon Says STAMP!
If they made a mistake when pulling your order, they’ll correct it - just email them and include the order number.
I am very impressed with your organizational skills!! thank you for posting!

Sure thing. I am very visual. I had started out with A2 size so I could best see layering, but that got too unwieldy over time as the stash grew. I do it by color (here) and by brand (helps me not duplicate as colors on computer screens can look different). It has been really interesting as I discover different companies have the same paper by different names which is not a huge surprise-only so many mfgs.
Not so organized with other stuff though. LOL You should see my paperwork pile.
