Default Heating liquid applique

I am trying this product for the first time and am wondering - do I let it sit overnight and then heat it from the back of the paper or directly on the front?

I have always heated from the top. Just be careful not to overheat. I have scorced Santa's beard and fur by holding the heat gun to close. A tan/brown beard and fur is not a good look for Santa.

Thanks so much. I'll try that then. I think the instructions had said to heat from beneath, but that as fabric if I remember correctly. Sounds good to me!

I have found that I got a different look when I heated it right after applying it as opposed to letting it dry overnight. When it's first applyed and heated it kind of puffs up all crazy, but if I let it dry overnight first it seems to puff up more evenly. Oh, and I always heat it from the top. HTH
