Default Has Anybody Found Free Fonts similar to...

Edgy Eloquence?
Love Matters?
Sage Advice and The Art of Life?
Simply Said?

If so, I'd love to add them to my collection!

These font sites have tons of free fonts! And they're nice too! Some of the fonts Papertrey Ink uses can be found there.

Happy browsing!

i haven't found fonts for the sets you noted, but i have posted an updated to my chart in the downloads forum which matches fonts and sets. AND i've just updated it with a list of known free font sites that i've used, and others have mentioned in various threads on this board.

I found these two fonts which would probably work well with the Sage Advice and Art of Life sets. I have used each with the Anne Frank quote from Sage Advice and shown how they look in the attached .jpg file.

Also, www.fontgarden.com has some free handwriting fonts, and several of those might work, too. Look at FG Jayne and FG Cheryl.

I really like the Suzie's Hand font, Becky! It definitely has the same "flavor" as Sage Advice and Art of Life, even though there are differences. It's a keeper for sure - and I will certainly use them together!

I've had so much fun on the free font sites listed! I've spent way too much time there this week! But at least I have some great new fonts to show for it!

Any other almost-matches out there for the others?

Actually, Cat, it was your chart that I downloaded two days ago that started me on this search! Thanks so much for your work!

I love the font list, Cat! Any chance you have found a font that would go with Musical manuscript? I love the sentiments in that set, but they are very hard to read. I am so challenged when it comes to finding fonts!

Yes, her list is awesome - thanks, Cat!

The Musical Manuscript font looks like Scriptina. You can find it here:
http://www.dafont.com/scriptina.font

The font comes out light for me so I usually hit the bold key when I type in the Scriptina font.

Thanks so much for the source and the bold hint! I am going to try this one.

I hope this isn't considered a hijack- but how do you make use of fonts? It's not something I've done in my card-making or scrapping.
